Australia’s iconic Deni Ute Muster celebrates another major milestone this year when we party on the plains for our 21st Birthday, full of music, mateship and all things Australian on 4 and 5 October 2019.

Tickets to the 2019 Deni Ute Muster have been selling like wildfire with our Muster Adorer ticket allocation selling out within 2 hours of going on sale. Early Bird ticket allocations have also sold out and General Admission tickets are on sale NOW.

International music superstar, Tim McGraw, will be playing at our coming-of-age party with some of Australia’s most loved and respected country/pop artists including Lee Kernaghan, John Williamson, Beccy Cole, Ross Wilson, Travis Collins, Adam Harvey, Sunny Cowgirls, Ben Ransom, Aleyce Simmonds, Round Mountain Girls and Mustered Courage with Day Stage artists to be announced.

Deni Ute Muster General Manager, Vicky Lowry, said today, “Our main stage line up to support Tim McGraw includes many artists who have returned to help celebrate our 21st celebrations. Patrons will not be disappointed in the amazing program that has been put together for our 21st year”.

Tickets and reserved camping for the 2019 Deni Ute Muster have been selling well with Edward River Flat, Wheat Fields, Rice Paddy and Peppin Paddock campsites SOLD OUT. Attendees are urged to be quick to ensure they don’t miss out on reserving their team’s base.

The Deni Ute Muster is one of the top ‘bucket list’ events in Australia and annually attracts close to 20,000 people of all ages to celebrate all things Australian and, of course, the iconic ‘ute’. The Deni Ute Muster has amazing community support with more than 1,000 volunteers mobilising each year to help put on the event which donates close to $100,000 back to community groups.

Back in 1999, a group of community minded locals came together with the aim to start a rural themed festival to bring visitors to Deniliquin, a beautiful vibrant town on the edge of the outback, which was struggling with a crippling drought.

The first Deni Play on the Plains Festival, as it was known at the time, took place in October 1999, on the flattest, natural, open plains on earth, and with “ute culture” being an intrinsic part of Deniliquin, it was unanimous that it would play a major part of the festival and hence the Deni Ute Muster burst into the national psyche.

In its first year, the Deni Ute Muster had approximately 5,000 patrons and set a new Guinness World Record for the most number of legally paraded utes at 2,839 – a record which still stands today. Since 1999 the Deni Ute Muster has become the region’s biggest tourist drawcard and a celebration of all things Australian.

The 2019 Deni Ute Muster line-up includes some new artists and many all-time favourites.

Lee Kernaghan reinvigorated Australian Country Music in the 1990’s, synthesising traditional country themes with his own brand of rural rock and images of an evolving regional culture. Songs like The Outback Club, Boys from The Bush, Hat Town, She’s My Ute and Australian Boy are now modern day anthems for a generation of Australians living and working on the land.

Lee has sold over two million albums in Australia with releases including Outback Club, Three Chain Road, 1959, Hat Town, Rules Of The Road, Electric Rodeo, New Bush, Ultimate Hits, Spirit Of The Bush, Planet Country, Beautiful Noise and Spirit Of The Anzacs all achieving platinum or multi-platinum status.

Lee Kernaghan has had a staggering 38 #1 chart hit songs over his career and has been awarded 38 Golden Guitars and has been named Hit Maker of the Decade, twice, in 2001 and 2011. This accolade is in recognition of Lee having more chart hits in Australia than any other country music artist in the world.  He is a four-time ARIA Award winning artist and in 2015 he was presented with the Australian Record Industry Award for Outstanding Achievement.

John Williamson’s unofficial anthems, tributes to legends and unsung heroes and tender ballads have captured the spirit of the nation in song unlike any other. His honest and passionate songs are synonymous with the country that inspires him and connect him with his countrymen regardless of age, sex or creed.  Add to this his ability to deliver unforgettable live concert experiences that combine the perfect blend of humour, romance and campfire stories woven together by his music. You can understand why he remains one of the most in-demand live performers in Australia.

John Williamson released his twentieth studio album, Butcherbird, in August 2018. This was his first original album since 2014 and garnered John a new Golden Guitar to add to his mantel at this year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival.

With a music career now spanning close to fifty years, there would seem to be little more for John to achieve. Having been inducted into the prestigious ARIA Hall of Fame, the recipient of three ARIA Awards, twenty-seven Golden Guitars, three APRA Awards, MO Awards, countless Platinum and Gold album accreditations and album sales of in excess of five million, he has done it all but more than anything, John wants an audience to walk away feeling proud to be Australian.

For over 25 years, Beccy Cole has been delighting Australian music fans with her unique brand of true entertainment. The South Australian star’s glowing warmth, husky tones, bawdy sense of humour and hundred-watt smile have helped make Beccy one of the nation’s best-loved and most celebrated artists.

With eleven Golden Guitars to her name (including five for Female Artist of the Year), as well as multiple ARIA Top 10 Country and Top 40 Mainstream albums, a Top 10 DVD, three gold-certified releases, and more than a dozen No.1 Australian country singles, Beccy Cole is one of Australia’s most successful singer-songwriters. She is also a most sought after live performer, having a reputation for bringing an audience to fever pitch and quite often, stomach clutching laughter!

Beccy’s latest album, Lioness, is nothing short of stunning. A collection of self-penned, personal and poignant songs perfectly displaying Beccy’s strength of character, huge heart and razor sharp wit. In an Australian first, Beccy procured the talents of some of Australia’s finest female musicians to make the only ever 100% female produced album. Produced by Julz Parker, known best for her amazing guitar work in Australian award winning band, Hussy Hicks, this is a Beccy Cole album with a new sound, a new band and a new outlook on life beyond forty.

From Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock and as a solo artist with 26 ARIA Top 40 hits to his credit as a singer, songwriter and producer, Ross Wilson is one of Australia’s most awarded, respected and well-known artists! From the legendary band Daddy Cool, whose number one anthem Eagle Rock smashed all previous sales records in Australia, to the 1977 formation of Mondo Rock, delivering 80’s hits Cool World, State of The Heart, Chemistry, No Time and Come Said The Boy, and into the 21st century as a solo performer, Wilson has never been out of the limelight.

Twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Wilson has written hits for Jimmy Barnes, John Farnham and Joe Cocker, and produced smash hit albums for Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons, Skyhooks and Screaming Jets.

With a growing string of hit albums, #1 songs, awards and a decade of winning fans all across the country under his belt, Travis Collins continues to cement his footprint as a mainstay on the Australian music landscape. He is as well-known for his masterful guitar playing and powerhouse vocals as he is for his depth of song-writing and high energy live performances.

In 2017, Travis Collins took home not only his first Golden Guitar but a total of three: Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year (Just Another Girl) and APRA AMCOS Song of the Year (Call Me Crazy). Two months later, he was also awarded three CMC Awards: Australian Video of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and CMC Oz Artist of the Year. As well-known for his masterful guitar playing and powerhouse vocals as he is for his depth of song-writing and high energy live performances, Travis continues to go from strength to strength with his most recent solo album, Hard Light, producing three #1 songs and charting in the ARIA top 20 all- genre charts.

In 2017 Travis collaborated with Amber Lawrence on the release of Our Backyard, which went on to collect three Golden Guitar Awards at the 2018 Country Music Awards for Vocal Collaboration of the Year, APRA AMCOS Song of the Year and Single of the Year.

Adam Harvey has long been one of Australian country music’s premier artists. With eight Golden Guitars on the mantelpiece – including Male Vocalist of the Year Golden Guitars in 2002 for The Shake of a Hand, 2004 for Call It Love, and 2005 for That’s What You Call A Friend, and Album of the Year wins in 2002, 2008 and 2012 (or Workin’ Overtime, I’m Doin’ Alright and Falling Into Place respectively, Adam ranks among Australian country music’s most decorated artists. Add to that more than half a million album sales, back-to-back No.1 albums on the ARIA Country Albums Chart, three ARIA nominations, and a succession of Gold- and- Platinum-certified albums, and it’s easy to see that Adam’s trophy room sparkles from every angle.

Perhaps more than any of Adam’s stellar solo releases, his most recent album, The Nashville Tapes is a sweeping, personal celebration of the sounds that defined a generation: from the legendary outlaws to the first wave of global country megastars. Musterers can expect everything Australia has come to love about Adam Harvey’s incomparable live show: a rousing mix of new songs, established hits and live favourites, and a smattering of evergreen country classics – along with liberal doses of Adam’s trademark yarns, droll one-liners, and generous good humour.

Australia’s favourite country duo, Sunny Cowgirls, never fail to deliver a cutting-out party to remember. Farm girls born-and-bred, Sophie and Celeste Clabburn burst onto the scene with their breakout debut album Little Bit Rusty in 2005. Since then, the 9 time Golden Guitar nominees have been entrancing audiences with their irresistible celebrations of mateship, hard work, and life and love in the Australian bush. They’ve performed everywhere from the Deni Ute Muster and Tamworth to the Gympie Muster and CMC Rocks, collaborated with Sara Storer and Adam Brand, and released 7 studio albums, a live CD, and two DVDs.

Sunny Cowgirls’ most recent outing Here We Go debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart, it’s easy to see why Sunny Cowgirls have long been the authentic voice of rural Australia.

Ben Ransom has performed and toured all over the world with his wild stage antics and music – a blend of rock, country and blues.  His latest album, Ben Ransom 101, has already gained 2 x National #1 hit singles and Commercial radio rotation. His current single sees him team up with 80’s icon Sharon O’Neill for a remake of her song, Young Years, which was a major hit for Dragon.

2019 sees Ben performing at major festivals, touring nationally and currently working on a brand new album slated for release later this year.  He’ll also get to add that he was the opening act for Tim McGraw when he joins us at the 2019 Deni Ute Muster.

Like any Country Singer, Tamworth’s own Aleyce Simmonds knows the weight of every step.  Having spent the past 11 years in the industry, traveling the world creating and recording music, she has grown to realise what she loves about the world, music and in particular, the keeper of her heart – Country Music.

.

.

Aleyce’s 3rd studio album, More Than Meets The Eye, debuted at #1 on the Australian Independent Record Labels Association chart and #5 on the ARIA Top 40 Country Albums Chart and she is the 2018 Golden Guitar Winner for Female Artist of the Year, 2017 APRA Award Winner for Country Work Of The Year, 2017 Australian Independent Female Vocalist of The Year and 2017 Australian Independent Artist Of The Year. Aleyce Simmonds’ star is well and truly on the rise and we can’t wait to welcome her back onto the Muster stage.

It’s been over a decade since a congregation of part time musos got together in a shed on Round Mountain in the most northern part of NSW and created Round Mountain Girls. Hundreds of shows on, and they’ve played on Australia’s biggest stages at the nation’s biggest festivals, alongside some of the world’s biggest names; released 4 original albums and for good measure, a covers EP. In recent times they have opened the main stage at the iconic Bluesfest for Zac Brown and Santana. They’ve toured the UK having been invited to three major festivals and recently completed a tour of the South Pacific in the company of the cream of Australian country acts.  John Williamson, also performing on the cruise, in his own words was “just blown away” by the bands live performance on the ship and this led to the collaborative single, Magical Mix (2018).

For a band that got together with absolutely zero expectations other than a weekly jam, Round Mountain Girls have punched way above their collective weight, but when you see them play live, and witness the raw energy and joy they bring to an audience, it’s all too easy to understand why.

Whether you call it bluegrass, newgrass, country or folk,  Mustered Courage, a progressive acoustic band from Melbourne, has undeniably created a sound and musical atmosphere unlike anyone else.

With a strong focus on infectious songwriting and three part vocal harmonies, this raucous group of musicians has impressed audiences from Melbourne to Nashville and everywhere in between with their fast pickin’ and catchy songwriting. With songs and influence that pays homage to traditional bluegrass, Mustered Courage also manage to successfully deliver a fresh-faced perspective to newcomers of the acoustic music and alternative folk movement.

In September 2018, this Golden Guitar Award winning and ARIA nominated band released their fourth studio album to critical acclaim titled We Played With Fire.
