‘The Leaving Town Tour’

Diana’s new single “Leaving Town’, the third from the My Queen album, was released earlier this month and has inspired her upcoming East Coast Tour which kicks off not far from home in Kingscliff NSW, takes in her current home town of Nimbin, then after some Festival spots  including Airlie Beach and Healesville finishes up back up North in Brisbane.

Talking about some of the upcoming towns Diana will Play and then Leave – she had this to say –

“I am seriously looking forward to an afternoon set (three sets actually!) at the Kingscliff Beach hotel. Last time I was invited there for the grand opening of the beer garden, and the show was packed with music lovers from near and far. As this is the first show on the Leaving Town tour, I am really excited and I know it will be a corker!“

“With Narrabundah College as my old stomping ground (for a little bit before I got pregnant and dropped out) and still having friends and family in Canberra, I feel very connected to the people and to the region. The last time I performed at Smiths Alternative it was one of the most fun shows on the Better Girl tour, and this time should be even more enjoyable, as my sister Heya joins me as special guest support and we will also be revising one of our favourite old co-written songs “Don’t Leave Me Now” written when both of us were in our teens”

To coincide with the tour the Leaving Town single is OUT NOW on All Digital Platforms via MGM and features 3 intimate Live in Studio Acoustic Bonus Tracks.

The Single is also available on CD as part of the current My Queen Full Length CD LP available at all good music stores and of course at the Merchandise Stand on the Leaving Town Tour Shows.

My Queen was Co-written with longtime guitarist Nathan Correy, produced and mixed  by Aria Award Winning Steve James and mastered at Metropolis London.
