Today, WA breakthrough act DICE are excited to announce a 24-stop world tour taking place over September, October & November of this year to celebrate the release of their debut album, Midnight Zoo, set for release on 9 August 2024 via Tone City Records. To mark the occasion, the band have also released new single ‘Sunrise‘ out now everywhere.
Announcing their biggest venues yet across Australia & New Zealand, the AU/NZ leg of the tour will make its way around a mix of regional towns and capital cities, kicking off in September with two shows in Melbourne, before heading to Hyden and Dunsborough in WA, Wellington and Auckland in New Zealand, Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra, Adelaide, Bunbury, Perth, Gold Coast, Brisbane and wrapping up in the Sunshine Coast in October. The breakthrough act will then head over to the UK & Europe to play headline shows in Amsterdam, London and Bristol, before taking their high-energy and electrifying live show to the states playing in New York, Toronto, Chicago, Denver and wrapping up their huge world tour in Los Angeles.
To celebrate the announcement of their world tour, DICE have also dropped ‘Sunrise’ – a brand new track and another teaser of what’s to come from their debut album. ‘Sunrise’ tackles the challenging journey of coping with grief and the loss of loved ones, acknowledging that it’s a difficult battle with no easy resolution. “Whilst holding personal meanings, this song was a way of saying that there are ways to get through grief” the band say of the new track. Emphasising the importance of leaning on friends and family for support, the band add “… a sunrise can be symbolic of new life, beginnings or just a new day. We wanted this track to be optimistic, bright and lively with the message that you can reach the sunrise”.

Following the critical acclaim of their 2021 debut and a breakout 2023 that included sold-out tours, international radio play, and a coveted spot on triple j’s Hottest 100, the highly anticipated debut record from DICE, Midnight Zoo, will see the band shed the carefree veneer of their earlier work for a more introspective, multifaceted sound. Midnight Zoo isn’t just an album; it’s a sonic odyssey mirroring their whirlwind year of creation. Unafraid to dive into more complex themes, Midnight Zoo promises a genre-bending journey from dancefloor to dawn. “We find our love for music through its authenticity. There’s a certain beauty to creating music because it is a culmination of your own emotions, experiences and personality. ‘Midnight Zoo’ is a window into what our lives have been like and the memories we’ve made during producing the record”.
Written, recorded and produced in their hometown of Perth at Tone City Records, the debut album is an ode to their home as a band and their roots. “The ‘Midnight Zoo’ is the name we gave to Tone City Studios, the location of our creation. It was the place we all went to get away from everything, when we felt sad, when we had a fight, but it was also where our creativity was at its strongest. Termed ‘Midnight Zoo’ because of its long nights, wild energy and full moon recordings, this title just fits like a glove with both the tracks and its creation” DICE say of the forthcoming LP. “It’s also always been a joke that the studio is like a zoo and when it turns to night, that’s when the magic happens”.
The debut record from DICE, Midnight Zoo, is set for release on Friday 9 August 2024 – preorder the record HERE and pre-save here – SPOTIFY + APPLE.

About DICE
2023 was undeniably been the biggest year yet for Tom, Ben, Lenny and Regan, marked with career milestones and multiple accolades, including sold-out tours, performances at widespread radio support across national and community radio and major playlist placement across playlist, solidifying DICE’s status as one of Australia’s most coveted alt-rock acts.
In September 2023 the four-piece played a run of electrifying sets at Brisbane’s BIGSOUND festival and were noted as one to watch for weeks prior, made their Splendour In The Grass debut on the amphitheatre stage, and earlier in the year played their completely sold-out first ever national headline tour across the country. The band also played at SXSW Sydney, Glenworth Valley’s Lost Paradise, NYE On The Hill, Newcastle’s Rolling Sets Festival, and played the headline slot closing out Wollongong’s Yours & Owls last year.
With no signs of slowing down, 2024 is gearing up to be bigger than ever with the breakthrough act releasing their debut album Midnight Zoo on 9 August 2024.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
