Multi-platinum-selling DJ and producer, Dillon Francis has dropped a new music video for his single, ‘Change Your Mind,’ a collaboration featuring iHeart Radio’s Best New Alternative Rock Artist of the year, platinum recording artist, lovelytheband. This unique collaboration between Francis and lovelytheband stirred much excitement amongst fans of both artists upon its’ release back in late March, and the build-up to the video’s premiere has proven to be worth the wait. Watch HERE.
Written and directed by Brandon Dermer (Panic at The Disco, Diplo, Steve Aoki) the ‘Change Your Mind’ video hilariously captures Francis’ comedic side as he takes on the role of Rick Jambles, an eccentric sports commentator for the “Pro Darts Sports Network”, bringing to life the “high-intensity & exhilarating” athletic tournament of darts. In a style similar to Funny or Die’s comedy skits, the video features actors; Alison Becker, Jimmy Tatro, and Anna Akana who lent their talents playing the role of professional athletes tying together the uproarious storyline.
The release of ‘Change Your Mind’ in late March was the perfect lead-in as Dillon kicked-off festival season as a headliner at the 2019 Coachella Music Festival in April, bringing lovelytheband onstage as surprise guests in what marked their debut live performance of the song.

It was recently announced that Dillon had signed a development deal with 20th Century Fox Television for an animated comedy series called, Gerald’s World centred around a character he created from a piñata. In addition to the series inspired by Gerald the piñata, Francis also released last month his second wardrobe capsule of his Gerald Collection in collaboration with Barney Cools. Earlier this year he wrapped a 15-city, US co-headlining tour, the ‘Lost My Mind’ tour alongside Alison Wonderland. It was also announced that he had lent his talents to the film, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part as he teamed up with T-Pain and That Girl Lay Lay for its’ featured track titled, ‘Catchy Song‘.
Alt-pop band lovelytheband have solidified their place in the indie-pop scene following the success of their breakout single, ‘broken,’ the chart-topping single off their debut album finding it hard to smile. The track was certified Platinum by the RIAA with over 210 million streams worldwide and breaking Billboard’s Alternative Songs Longevity Record, as it spent 66 weeks on the chart and nine weeks at No. 1. ‘broken’ also hit #1 on the Rock Airplay Songs chart, No. 3 on Adult Alternative Songs last June, and reached No. 14 on Pop Songs in November. lovelytheband recently won an iHeartRadio Music Award for Best New Alternative/ Rock Artist where they also performed alongside Marshmello, Lauv, and Ella Mai in a Best New Artist Medley. The band just wrapped up their European tour supporting LANY and will be headlining their own North American tour entitled “finding it hard to smile,” which kicks off on March 26th in Peoria, IL and will be supported by Flora Cash and Jagwar Twin. In addition, lovelytheband is set to perform at a number of overseas festivals including Hangout Festival, BottleRock Napa Valley, Firefly Music Festival and Bunbury Festival.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
