Platinum-selling artist, DJ, and producer Dillon Francis has today released ‘Ven’ (feat. Arcángel & Quimico Ultra Mega.) Harkening back to his 2011 breakout Westside! EP, ‘Ven’ sees Francis revisit his early Latin influences and moombahton roots. The track marks the first single from his forthcoming Spanish language studio album, executive produced by Toy Selectah, the record is due for release later this year.

Recorded in the Dominican Republic during the summer of 2017 alongside vocalists Arcángel & Quimico Ultra Mega, the track is available to stream and download via Francis’ own IDGAFOS record label. “We decided to do some crazy club shit,” shared Francis. “You don’t have to understand a word of the verses, because that drop is like the universal New York anthem—whether you’re American or Dominican. You could hear it on the dance floor and just not give a fuck what anyone thinks.”

Arcángel is a reggaetón vocalist from Puerto Rico who began his career as a member of the duo Arcángel y De la Ghetto in the mid-2000s before embarking on a solo career with his debut album El Fenómeno. His latest full length Los Favoritos was released in 2015, debuting inside the top 10 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart. Quimico Ultra Mega is rapper/trap vocalist from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. His latest album Deluxe was released in 2017.

‘Ven’ (feat. Arcángel & Quimico Ultra Mega) is the third single Francis has released via his IDGAFOS record label, and is preceded by the propulsive ‘Say Less’ (feat. G-Eazy) and vibrant ‘Hello There’ (feat. Yung Pinch). IDGAFOS originated from Francis’ 2011 song of the same name, which at the time, reflected the culmination of his signature musical productions. The term has since evolved into a rallying cry for all things Dillon Francis — his clothing line, epic live show, and now an outlet with which to release his new music. In his own words, IDGAFOS is “to be spirited and happy… to never give a fuck or shit about anything but remaining positive.”
