GRAMMY-nominated, multiple ARIA award-winning Australian DJ/producer/songwriter Dom Dolla drops his highly anticipated new single and music video, ‘Dreamin’ feat. Daya.
‘Dreamin’ comes off the back of a career defining 2024, marking his first release of 2025, and his first collaboration with the LA-based, GRAMMY-winning, multi-platinum selling synth-pop innovator Daya.
Dom debuted the single during his record-breaking Australian headline tour in December 2024, where he sold over 170,000 tickets—becoming the highest-selling individual electronic artist in Australia of all time. ‘Dreamin’ already has over 1,700+ organic TikTok creates, 30M TiKTok views and 88,000 Shazams (pre-release). Online fans have been clamoring for its official release, making it the most highly anticipated dance track of 2025.
Dom’s incredible string of world-class collaborations levels up once again, this time with the GRAMMY Award-winning Daya. Their melodic and lyrical chemistry is undeniable, driven by one of Dom’s quintessential instrumentals and a hypnotic hook: “Sunny days, it’s such a pretty place. I see your smiling face, woke up, and now I think I’m dreamin’.”

Dom Dolla quote: “This record is about the flow state you can find yourself in when everything is going a little too well… the moment you’re struck by a tiny sobering piece of doubt that niggles at your peace of mind. A reminder that nothing lasts forever, this too shall pass, so you might as well give it everything. The challenge I gave myself with this record was to write the simplest melody I could muster (that didn’t drive me nuts). I brought it to the studio where I met Daya for the first time. She is truly a talent to be reckoned with and has the most incredible voice. Initially I thought such a simple melody would be wasted on a voice as great as hers, but she brought such character to the idea that it ended up being exactly what the record needed and then some.”
Daya quote: “I’m so glad I could help write and perform on this song— Dom is a master of his craft and it was exciting to dive into his world for it. I hope people can embrace both the darkness and the levity in it all at once.”
The accompanying video shot in Tokyo (directed by Kyle Caulfield & Shevin Dissanayake) vividly depicts the song’s emotional peaks and valleys, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. It follows an anxious and exhausted protagonist through a whirlwind week, tracking his journey from falling asleep on the streets to a corporate office job, a lonely night at the bar, the cold subway station ground—and back again. It may just be Dom’s most pensive and thought-provoking video to date.
Kyle Caulfield & Shevin Dissanayake Quote: “Every part of making this video was incredibly special. From the formation of the idea, to building the crew, all the way through to the execution—it was so effortless and so much fun. The song fit the video perfectly and explained lyrically what the video couldn’t by itself, and vice versa. It’s since been cut together to be one of my favourite music videos I’ve ever worked on, and it’s really special to see it out in the world.”
This year, Dom continues his reign on the road worldwide. To kick things off, Dom has announced two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York, headline sets at Ultra Music Festival and Bonnaroo, and confirmed he will continue his residency at LIV Las Vegas.
He capped off 2024 by delivering “CAVE” [with Tove Lo] alongside a seismic remix from Partiboi69 and X CLUB. The original “CAVE” amassed over 14 million Spotify plays, spending eight weeks on BBC Radio 1’s B-List playlist, and is currently sitting in the Top 10 on the US Dance Radio charts. The release of “CAVE” followed the news of Dom’s six 2024 ARIA nominations, where he took home the award for Best Dance/Electronic Release.
This follows the success of Dom’s 2024 single “girl$”, which racked up over 25 million Spotify streams and reached #1 on the US Dance Radio Chart. In Australia, “girl$” was voted #7 in Triple J’s annual Hottest 100, while “CAVE” landed at #14. Dom concluded his sold-out UK/EU shows in November at Drumsheds (London), Warehouse Project (Manchester), New World (Glasgow), and Paradiso (Amsterdam) and instantly sold 170,000 tickets ahead of his 2024 Australian tour in November and December. Last year, he also performed to a sold-out Forest Hills Stadium in New York and led back-to-back sold-out nights in Los Angeles that drew over 40,000 people.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
