50 Game-Changing Women
of Australian Music for
International Women’s Day

.
As part of International Women’s Day on Monday 8 March, we’ll be celebrating 50 Game-Changing Women of Australian Music on Double J.
And we want your help! Tell us which female artists have helped you see the world differently, broken barriers or just created the music you love. We want everyone from the ground breakers through to crowd pleasers, from current faves to the legends that came before them. You can nominate solo artists, specific band members, DJs and producers by hitting us up on the triple j textline [0439 757 555] or on the triple j, Double J and triple j Unearthed Instagram’s.
We’ll also have 24 hours of amazing songs, stories and discussions from female and gender diverse artists across triple j, Double J and triple j Unearthed.
Plus throughout the day on triple j we’ll have Ash McGregor joining Dave Woodhead on Lunch, Jess Perkins tapping in with Hobba & Hing on Drive and Bridie Tanner co-hosting with Declan Byrne on Home & Hosed. Elsewhere it’s business as usual with all your faves, Bryce & Ebony, Lucy Smith, Avani Dias, Bridget Hustwaite and Nkechi Anele bringing you more of the female-led music and stories you love.
On Double J we’ll have Zan Rowe kicking it all off at 9am, Karen Leng from 12pm, Caz & Tim on from 3-6pm, and the phenomenal Emma Donovan will be co-hosting Tower of Song with Henry Wagons from 7–9pm. And over on triple j Unearthed, Tanya Bunter will be taking over the reins on Tops.
So tune in for our International Women’s Day celebrations across all three networks all day on Monday 8 March.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
