Tidal Peak has released the first single from the upcoming album ‘Treasureville’, which is set for release on May 16th.
‘Coasting’ is the first track to lead off a 28-minute conceptual suite on the album’s second half, titled ‘Return To Capricorn’. An introspective, ethereal piece written about principal member Kyle Lacko’s hometown on the Capricorn Coast, the song itself deals with “the slow, emotive buildup of emotions when you return to somewhere you haven’t been for years, and you’re trying to figure out if you’re still relevant or regarded in any capacity while you’re slowly coasting through your own life.” says Lacko. “It felt like the perfect track to lead as the first single, running parallel with my own experience of returning to release new music after so many years being away from it all.”
.
.
Recorded and produced at home with all instruments by Lacko himself, the track initially began with the intention of opening the album, before Lacko realised it had the lyrical potential and slow, natural buildup to be better suited on the second half of the album as part of the “Return To Capricorn” suite, where there is “a dreamlike, progressive-pop seascape influence throughout.”

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
