Spring is here and it’s not just the weather warming up. Here at EFFHQ, we have been flat out busy and there’s a lot to cover in this edition of the festival. First up – we are super excited to be announcing our second batch of artists for the EFF2019 lineup. 24 more international and top-shelf domestic acts to satisfy just about any possible musical itch you might have! We also are very happy to now have our camping upgrade options on sale, including a totally epic new addition to the range of options – 96 fully self-contained bunkhouse rooms!

EFF2019 Second Lineup Announcement

We are super amped to now unveil the second lineup announcement for EFF2019! Following on from our first delectable music offering, this next sonic selection is a beautifully eclectic mixture of international and domestic talent, with the usual genre spectrum mashup that Earth Frequency is well loved for – everything from techno and trance to many flavours of midtempo bass music, folk, funk and world music. We still have a lot more to come, but for now please dive in and soak up the sounds of what’s on offer for EFF2019!
Camping Upgrades on sale today!
Tickets for Earth Frequency Festival include general camping for the 4 days of the festival, but we also offer an impressive range of camping upgrade options to make your festival experience, easier, smoother, and more comfortable. Our camping upgrades are on sale today at midday. This includes our previous offerings – Deluxe Camping and Wow Tents Bell Tents (4m or 5m). Bunkhouse Cabins
We also have an amazing new accommodation offering – fully self-contained bunkhouse cabins with bedding, air conditioning, electrical outlets, and a private ensuite with shower and toilet!
Tickets Update
Tickets for Earth Frequency Festival 2019 are on sale now. Early Bird tickets sold out in July and we’re very grateful for the early support! First Round tickets are now on sale, and we have also activated payment plans for anyone who prefers to pay off their ticket in smaller weekly instalments.

And remember… For EFF2019, we are capping numbers for a maximum of 5000 onsite including all crew, volunteers, artists etc. Limited door sales may be available but this is not guaranteed. Jump in early and lock in your spot at EFF2019 and you’ll also benefit from lower-priced tickets!

Music applications are now closed!! Thank you to all who applied, we’re loving the creativity and diversity in the applications this year and we can’t wait to bring you the full music program in the coming weeks and months. Applications are now open across all other areas of the event – creative forms of all kinds, the frequency village, the family realm, market stalls, volunteers, work and media. Grounded Permaculture Retreat @ EFF2019
After the success of the EFF Grounded Permaculture Retreats in 2017 and 2018, we are excited to announce it is happening it again in 2019! Designed to give a small group of participants a solid grounding in a broad range of areas based on projects happening on site, this workshop program is designed for those who are ready to gain the practical knowledge and skills to sink their roots deep into radical self-determination and productive land regeneration.
A collaborative partnership between Earth Frequency Festival, Grounded Permaculture Action Party and Peak Organics at Ivory Rock, the five-day program will cover:
Permaculture Ethics, Principles & Techniques
Bio-Dynamic & Certified Organic Farming
Social Permaculture
Natural Sequence Farming (Leaky Weirs)
Fresh Food & Ferments
Orchard Planning, Design & Maintenance
Volunteer & Community Based Agriculture
The retreat will run from Monday 11th to Friday 15th of February 2019. Tickets are on sale now for $500, which covers workshops, camping and all meals from Grounded’s vegan zero-waste kitchen during the retreat. Ticket numbers for this are extremely limited (12 max) so get in quick! Tickets for the retreat can be purchased as an add-on product from the main Earth Frequency ticketing page, and you will also need to purchase a festival ticket (unless you are already working or volunteering for the festival). Plant ‘Em Up @ EFF2019 and Grounded Monthly Meetup
At the 2018 edition of Earth Frequency, we were very happy to facilitate the return of a tree planting action as part of the festival, a true back to the roots moment considering Earth Frequency Festival began as a small tree planting party way back in the early 2000’s. This was our first people-powered tree planting session at Ivory Rock as part of the festival in 2018, we’re excited to announce we will be doing it again in 2019.
With all the action happening right in the festival precinct, we will literally be regenerating the earth’s frequency, giving people the opportunity to give back to our great mother. Bringing more permaculture action to the party, the Grounded crew have pro-actively synchronised the long-held visions of the festival and the site, engaging local chem-free land-care specialists Bushtekniq to facilitate the sessions that will happen during the festival.
Grounded Monthly Meet-Up @ Ivory Rock – October 13
The Grounded crew are heading back out to the festival site as part of their Monthly Meet-Ups. To keep the momentum flowing and share the perma-party love around these informal and low-key get-togethers are an opportunity to support each other in taking care of our land and ourselves whilst creating a culture of abundance.
Doing what they do best, the crew from bushtekniq will be facilitating a session on learning about local flora and fauna and chem-free bush regeneration! We’ll be following up with some maintenance on the trees planted as part of EFF2018 as well as beginning the preparations for the tree planting action that will be happening at EFF2019! Bamboo Bass @ Island Vibe 2018

Island Vibe Festival is one of our favourite events in the Australian festival calendar. Taking place in October each year, at Minjerribah (Stradbroke Island), Island Vibe is Australia’s premier roots, soul and bass focused festival, set in a prime beach-side location. Having commenced in the same year as Earth Frequency Festival, and with many artists, crews and individuals supporting both events, we consider Island Vibe our much loved twin sibling festival.
So we are stoked to announce that in 2018, Earth Frequency will once again be presenting an electronic stage at Island Vibe Festival. We’ve put together another delectable mashup of all things bass heavy and broken beat, from drum and bass and dubstep to glitch-hop, dub and ragga.

EFF Community Fund
We are proud to announce the return of the Earth Frequency Festival Community Fund in 2018. This fund is a direct donation from the festival to the local community, independent of other local area fundraising activities done by local charities and community groups at the festival. 1% of ticket sales is now allocated each year to a community fund which local individuals and organisations may apply for worthy causes that will benefit the local area of the festival.
The EFF Community Fund is an annual initiative, delivering assistance to worthy local area projects as another positive outcome from the festival each year. We would like to thank the local community groups for their support and the committee members for their time in assisting this process. Applications for the 2018 Community Fund are now open.
