Sydney’s lounge room rock outfit Easy Street are pleased to announce the long-awaited release of their debut EP, “EASY STREET” and accompanying single “Virtues”.
With a sound sitting somewhere between English 1960’s tradition and an early millennium rock revival record, the self titled EP is doused with lush harmonies, chirpy guitars and rich synth textures. This much anticipated debut will set Easy Street on their path to becoming formidable contributors to the Australian music scene.
Easy Street teamed with ARIA Award-winning producer Wayne Connolly (“The Vines”, “You Am I”, “Cloud Control”) at Hercules Street Studio to release their most polished work to date. With uniquely Australian lyricism, the EP catalogues city frustrations, love quarrels and personal transcendence.

“Virtues” follows the release of debut single “Made 22” which was selected on Australian Music Scene‘s “New Australian Music” playlist (along with the likes of “DMA’s” and “Gang Of Youths”), achieved airplay on Sydney Radio FBi and an exclusive MusicFeeds premiere of the video clip celebrating the life of the much maligned and misunderstood Ibis. Utilising their signature harmonies, this upbeat singalong arrives just in time for summer and has all the hallmarks to be a great backyard anthem.

Easy Street are celebrating with a show at The Town Hall Hotel, NEWTOWN on 15 December 2017 at 8pm for a CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR, where they will be incorporating a 4 part horn section into their band to surprise their fans.
Birthed from years of honing the craft of songwriting together in cramped Sydney bedrooms, Easy Street create rich four-part harmonies paired with heavy vintage synths and guitar solos. Known locally for their peppy and spirited performances, Easy Street will begin 2018 with a string of shows at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and a second EP to be released February.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
