What the press is saying about ‘Home In Another Life’:

“one of the most expressive vocal performances yet from Aramis Johnson” Stereogum
“the PNW indie rockers in their purest form” Uproxx
Tacoma, Washington’s Enumclaw releases their album ‘Home in Another Life’ via Run For Cover Records & Cooking Vinyl Australia today. Co-produced by Ben Zaidi and Enumclaw, the band’s second album is the natural expansion of the high-octane rock foundation the band built with their widely-praised 2022 debut album ‘Save The Baby’.
Across the eleven tracks of ‘Home in Another Life’, vocalist and principle songwriter Aramis Johnson cracks open his chest cavity for quakingly tender songs written and performed to electrify basement shows and reverberate through arenas in equal measure.
Recorded in a four-day sprint in Seattle last Winter, Enumclaw make music and perform like a band wrestling with the weight of growing up without looking to wallow in that baggage. ‘Home In Another Life’ is a louder, faster, poignant and achingly resonant statement from the band, but they never forget to have fun amid the anxieties that life throws at them and aren’t afraid to turn the spotlight on themselves as people who are still figuring it out.
In the time since ‘Save The Baby’ spent on the road playing shows, these four Washingtonians have broken the barriers of being simply bandmates sharing a cramped bus and have become close friends through the candor of ‘Home In Another Life’. Aramis writes a life’s worth of experiences into the album despite being only 28, jamming, yelling and careening his way through losing a family member, confronting his own shame, and just trying to be better each and every day. This is an album about doing, and wanting, something more, but not being so stuck on that idea that you can’t have a good time right now.
Enumclaw joined forces with Australia’s own ARIA award-winning duo, Flight Facilities, in May for the infectious single Days Of The Week, which also came paired with a video by John C. Peterson that found placement on ABC’s Rage. Watch here.
Enumclaw is about to wrap up their string of support dates with twen, which saw the band perform to crowds across the United States in major cities and smaller markets alike. This October, Enumclaw will head across the pond to London for a couple shows, including a Run For Cover showcase with Citizen, Horse Jumper of Love and Armlock on October 25th and a headline show on October 26th, leading up to their performance at Outbreak Fest on October 27th. Enumclaw is rounded out by guitarist Nathan Cornell, drummer Ladaniel Gipson, bassist (and Aramis’ younger brother) Eli Edwards. Watch “A Working Band Abroad” HERE to get a glimpse of what their live show is like and what being on the road with Enumclaw is all about.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
