Eora Sydney psych rock five piece Dead Witch are heading out on their biggest tour to date, spanning 7 dates along the East Coast, celebrating the release of their winding, 70s psych burner ‘Saturn’s Return’ – & recently announced a limited edition 7-inch vinyl out via Impressed Recordings.
Booked in collaboration with Interstellar Music, the band will play headline shows in Melbourne, Sydney, & Brisbane, support friends & metal trailblazers Battlesnake (all hail), and finish the tour with festival dates in Byron Bay & the Gold Coast at A Splendid Weekender.
Tickets are on sale now, and the band are celebrating the release of a limited edition vinyl, a split 7-inch double single featuring ‘Saturn’s Return’ & summer favourite ‘Sunshine’ – released on Australia’s new favourite boutique record label, Impressed Recordings, out July 12 (tomorrow)and available for pre-order now.

After the release of fuzzy, summer love song ‘Sunshine’, Dead Witch show another side on their winter release, ‘Saturn’s Return’ – a moody, introspective reflection on heartbreak and astrology.
The band nods to greats like Led Zeppelin and Stevie Nicks in a winding, 70s inspired psych-rock three part burner. Booming drums, wailing stairway guitars and a more grounded vocal than we’ve heard from the band previously, Saturn’s Return is a song that sees Dead Witch stepping into their power and taking bigger swings on arrangement and production.
Saturn’s Return & Sunshine were recorded at Golden Retriever Studios in Marrickville, produced & mixed by Wade Keighran, and mastered by Nick Franklin.
