Erthlings today release their new video for ‘Returning’ from their recently released debut EP, Indigo via Future Classic (Flume, G Flip) via Billboard. Directed by Maya Luana, the video’s concept plays with the song’s lyrics, visualizing the spontaneous nature of reflection. Watch HERE.
Issy, Jessame, Taylor and Lissa have been crafting music together since they were 8 years old. Their minimal, yet sophisticated, style of pop has already collected over 7.5 million Spotify streams as well as critical praise from Refinery29, the New York Times, Nylon, Paste, Gorilla vs Bear, Line Of Best Fit, the BBC, and almost every Australian outlet including triple J. Since the first release of their music one year ago, they’ve opened for the like of Clairo, Wafia, Amy Shark and performed at four national Australian music festivals.
Indigo is a swirling presentation of the Sydney four-piece’s ability to pivot from ethereal-pop to alt-indie, with a nuanced ease and grace. My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
