TEG LIVE is thrilled to announce that Kanye West’s one-off Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert with special guest Drake will be streamed directly from the iconic LA Coliseum into Hoyts Cinema at the Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park in Sydney tomorrow, Friday December 10th at 4PM AEDT.
Very limited tickets for the livestream will go on sale today at 3pm via Ticketek with a limit of six (6) tickets per transaction.
YE is set to headline one historic concert designed to raise awareness and support for Larry Hoover and the cause of prison and sentencing reform: Ye will be joined with special guest Drake.
Ye – one of the greatest live performers of his generation – is known for his stunning, innovative, powerful live shows and has not headlined a fully designed and realized stadium show since 2016’s legendary, acclaimed Saint Pablo Tour, touted by VICE as “the best concert of all time.”
“I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride aside and come together,” said Ye.
“Bringing these two great artists together for the culture and cause of prison reform has been an honor” said the leader of the movement J Prince. “Through my work with Larry Hoover and his family, I’ve really had my eyes opened to the plight of incarcerated people in this country, and I hope fans of Ye and Drake will take the time to do the same.”
Larry Hoover has spent more than two decades in solitary confinement at ADX Supermax federal prison in Florence, Colorado. He has been incarcerated for the past 45 years, all the while remaining a vocal advocate and activist seeking to bring an end to gang violence nationwide.
Ye himself has personally offered the people of Sydney an exclusive and limited capacity livestream of the concert, allowing fans to experience what will undoubtedly go down as a truly historic performance involving two of the greatest live artists of the 21st century.
