From the 1980s to the current moment, Britains pioneering punk/poet BILLY BRAGG, has endured as one of the world’s most captivating songwriters and political voices. Hear from the man himself as he chats music, life and current affairs with former Deputy Prime Minister, federal member for Grayndler and self-professed Bragg super-fan, ANTHONY ALBANESE. They’ll be taking to the Fairgrounds Talks Stage, 1.30pm – 2.15pm on Saturday.

You probably know WIL WAGNER as the frontman of Melbourne punks, The Smith Street Band. You probably didn’t know that he’s also the proud son of two children’s book authors. Bless!
Join Wil as he salutes his parents for an audience of rugrat rockers and young punks at Little Fairgrounds: the festival within a festival designed for the young and young at heart.
Take a seat and listen closely as Wil reads “Little Cat and the Big Red Bus” which was written by his mother Jane Godwin and “Why I Love Summer”, written by his father Michael Wagner, at 2.45pm on Saturday.

BUNNY RACKET replaces THE LISTIES
The Listies are no longer able to make it to Little Fairgrounds this year, but don’t fear, because BUNNY RACKET is here to rock you! Whether you are 3 or 103 years old, you will not be able to resist throwing a first in the air for King Bunny and his gang of fluffy punk rock friends, featuring Pauly Bianco on drums and Killer on the bass.
Not so long ago, BUNNY RACKET’s King Bunny, along with Brant Bjork of Kyuss and Robby Krieger of The Doors, burrowed down in the southern Californian desert to create a sound that would bring all generations together in rock ‘n’ roll harmony. If you’re a fan of The Ramones, KISS, Black Sabbath and The Muppets, head to Little Fairgrounds with your little rockers and take the BUNNY RACKET ride. Classics like ‘A Chicken Is Not A Fruit’ and ‘Never Shake A Rattlesnake’ will have the whole family head banging!

Paper Portraits with ELIN MATILDA
Take a break under the trees with a colourful and creative project led by Swedish-Australian illustrator ELIN MATILDA. In the not-so-serious morning workshop, Fangirl Fun, you’ll be invited to DIY your very own paper portrait of one of our amazing Fairgrounds artists. If you’d rather someone else do the crafting for you, Elin will also be running one-on-one sessions in the afternoon, where you can get a personalised portrait done of you on the spot!
