After what feels like a lifetime, Australia’s most beloved, family-friendly music festival Fairgrounds will return to Berry Showgrounds on Friday 25th & Saturday 26th of November 2022!
Located less than 2-hour drive from Sydney via the new freeway, Fairgrounds is renowned for delivering the perfect balance of major international artists alongside the freshest emerging talent. Returning for its sixth year, the ultimate music lovers summer soiree is set for an all-time reunion. So mark those dates in your diary now, alert the group chat, book your accommodation and sign up at fairgrounds.com.au for updates – a huge line-up announcement is coming soon!
From humble beginnings in 2015, Fairgrounds has grown into the best kept secret on the Australian music calendar, having previously hosted the likes of Liam Gallagher, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Rodriguez, Billy Bragg, The Breeders, Courtney Barnett, Julia Jacklin, Sampa The Great, Gang Of Youths, The Shins, Aldous Harding, Father John Misty and countless more.
Yet the music is only part of the Fairgrounds experience. Returning wayfarers will enjoy sun-soaked swims in the on-site pool, picnic on local produce and sip delicious drops as they meander their way around the most picturesque festival venue in the land. They’ll collect vintage vinyl and other pre-loved goodies as they explore the carefully curated markets. Meanwhile, kids 12-and-under can experience a whole other world of fun at Little Fairgrounds – a mini-festival within a festival – full of rides, entertainment and activities to keep the youngest generation of music fiends happy. Those with littlies can chill in the parents area before powering on in full festival mode.
Head into the mosh to blow off some steam and dance the past couple of years away. Then grab a treat from the tuckshop and enjoy the carnival games with the whole crew in tow.
When it’s time for sleep, take advantage of Rivercamp, Fairgrounds very own campground located under 5 minutes from the festival site. Picture camping by a tranquil river lined with luscious trees in the stunning South Coast countryside, and you’ll be close to imaging your Fairgrounds home for the weekend. Rivercamp includes a range of camping options as well as complimentary shuttle bus rides that run on a loop between the campground and Fairgrounds site during event hours.
Camping not really your thing? For those wanting to stay in the surrounding regions, now is the time to book accommodation! Fairgrounds offers official shuttle services to/from the festival during event hours. Areas serviced by these shuttles include Gerringong, Gerroa, Shoalhaven Heads and Nowra.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
