“Fall Off the Edge of the World” is the latest single from P@trick, the Melbourne-based multi-talented musician and instrumentalist. Sweet, uplifting, and a little melancholy, “Fall Off the Edge of the World” is inspired by new life in a new city, a simultaneous celebration of and yearning for the most important connections to place and people.

After a decade chasing dreams, unsettled and rootless, P@trick found himself in Melbourne in late 2019, full of expectation, and creative impetus. Passionately throwing himself into the songwriting process, “Fall Off the Edge of the World” emerged from a concentrated period of creativity with I Heart Songwriting Club, a collaborative online weekly songwriting group, which has seen Patrick write over 30 songs in less than 6 months.
One morning, at a loose end and gazing listlessly about his apartment, P@trick juxtaposed the items of everyday life with the hope of a new creative phase and this song is the result.
“The song speaks of all the things I was yearning for at the time; a sense of place, connection, and the ocean. Drawing these emotional threads together and weaving them into poetry resulted in this song, a metaphor for allowing yourself to be completely immersed in the moment.”
P@trick is a constantly curious musician, creating intimate and immersive music, challenging listeners with work that evokes complex feelings and vivid imagery. Scientist and Creative, harnessing the power of the left and right brain, P@trick has interwoven his vast range of life experience and deep-seated passion for songwriting to breathe life into his dream of being an artist. The emotional demands of the arts and the sciences are often musically exclusive – but he is able to reconcile the two competing muses.
“Fall off the Edge of the World” is Out Now.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
