FANNY LUMSDEN
unveils new documentary
‘Mountain Mama Take Me Home
– Fallow & The Tooma Valley’
.
.
“Like the great Australian songwriters before her, Fanny’s music reverberates with nature and culture simultaneously, with optimism and sheer determination. Fanny speaks to the masses and is the perfect antidote to a bad day.” – Kath Devaney – Double J
“…a breakthrough record for Lumsden” – Craig Mathieson – SMH
.
.
Award-winning singer-songwriter Fanny Lumsden & Dan Stanley Freeman have written and produced a short 10 minute documentary, a brilliant behind the scenes snapshot of writing & recording Lumsden’s critically-acclaimed Top 10 album fallow in their stone hut – while also having to deal with the Mega fire that surrounded their small Snowy Mountains community of the Tooma Valley last Summer.
.
.
It’s an emotional ride that captures the beautiful scenery of the valley, the devastating effects of the fires, snippets of life on the road, and the spirit of a tight-knit community coming together.
Fanny and husband Dan run their own Record Label and Production company Red Dirt Road Records and their hugely successful touring brand The Country Halls Tour which in its 8th year has brought live original music to over 130 halls throughout regional and remote Australian, all which is no small feat for a self-managed artist.
fallow was released on March 13, 2020, securing rave reviews, a TOP TEN ARIA chart debut and hit #2 on the ARIA Country Album Chart, #2 iTunes All Genre Chart, #1 iTunes Country Chart, #1 Australian Artist Country Chart & #3 AIR Chart.
.
.
Don’t miss Fanny Lumsden live on her fallow tour from this November.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
