‘Fat White Family are like nothing else, their individuality and addictive tunes sway, betray and memorize each time they show up for a live show. This band delivers like no other… Is there a live show as singular, as unsettling, as gripping?’ – Clash Music
Resplendent Londoners Fat White Family return to Australia in just over two weeks’ time, for their first tour dates since 2019 and in celebration of their acclaimed fourth album, Forgiveness Is Yours. Right from their earliest days, Fat White Family have instinctively grasped the long-neglected power of myth in rock’n’roll, the necessity of giving people something (or nothing) to believe in. In a drab monoculture of play-it-safe pop careerists, Fat White Family carry the sacred flame.
Joining the intense, boundary-pushing act are two special guests, announced today: Part Taoist riddle, part lone gunman’s manifesto is Melbourne outfit Sex Mask– also a post punk/alt rock band, added to the bill at The Croxton, Melbourne, on Monday 2 December. “Vague pop instilled with the ancient genius of your own blood” says the trio, who are laced with mystique – attested to by fans who describe listening to Sex Mask as a nearly otherworldly encounter, one that evokes flashes of genetic memory and past lives yet to be lived. “Is Sex Mask just another egregious attempt from delusional solipsists at being heard while saying close to nothing? Yes. But we make it look good.”
In Sydney (Oxford Arts Factory, Tuesday 3 December) and Brisbane (The Brightside, Wednesday 4 December), fans can catch RINSE, the solo project of Joe Agius, who also collaborates and performs live with Hatchie. RINSE’s sound gravitates toward post-punk and shoegaze, with influences like New Order and The Cure lending an infectious darkness. With a rotating ensemble of collaborators, Agius crafts a rich, dynamic sound that elevates every live performance to a hypnotic, genre-defying experience. Having worked with heavyweights like Jorge Elbrecht (Japanese Breakfast, Sky Ferreira) and Heba Kadry (Bjork, Slowdive), RINSE is the perfect companion to Fat White Family’s boundary-pushing style.
Fat White Family’s live shows are the stuff of legend, an invitation to step into a world of unbridled force and punk spirit. These performances will be essential… Don’t miss Fat White Family live on stage… final tickets on sale now!

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
