tell-all on the highs and lows of
Splendour in the Grass

In the lead up to triple j’s Splendour in the Past this weekend, we sat down Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco to tell us all about the highs and lows of running Australia’s biggest winter music festival.
Which Splendour line up was their fave? What were the really special moments? And the very worst? What happens when a headliner like Frank Ocean cancels? How do you know when it’s really gone to shit? Who’s on their artist bucket list? When is RATM playing???
Find out those answers and more, as we gear up for a huge weekend of live music from Splendour’s in the past.
And as Paul Piticco jokes “We’re noticing the weather is not very good for the site this weekend, so we may have dodged a huge bullet.” With Jess Ducrou concurring, “Silver linings! It can rain as much as it wants this year. We’ll be at home listening to triple j.”
Be like Jess and Paul and tune into triple j’s Splendour in the Past on your radio, streaming on the triple j website and your mobile via the triple j app on iPhone or Android from 9am – 6pm Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July.
You can also check out some of the Splendour’s wildest stories according to the artists who played the festival.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
