About FRANKIE SUNWAGON
Frankie Sunwagon is a four-piece Alternative Rock band from Kaurna Land, (Adelaide, SA). The band like to label themselves as a ‘fem-punk’ group as they explore themes of gender fluidity and equality through punchy, heartfelt lyricism and instrumentals.
The band draws influences from various genres. Lyrically there are similarities to The Cure and Evanescence, while the instrumentals blend themes of Noise Rock and Shoegaze through emotional yet aggressive melodies. Additionally, the band is beginning to incorporate some more orchestral elements, particularly strings, like that of Silverchair and Gang of Youths.

About ‘GEORGIA’
Georgia is a slow, moody song that explores the effects of being subject to sexism and finding inspiration and comfort through music. The song moves through themes of sadness, disheartenment and struggling to cope in such a cruel world. The song speaks of finding comfort by relating to songs that another female artist has written about her similar life experiences.
Instrumentally the song consists of warm textures of layered strings and lullaby like dreamy guitar melodies, paired with intimate vocals throughout.
The song builds into a loud, intense final chorus where the lyrics explain finding inspiration to persist through the challenges that gender inequality and sexism have caused.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
