Rising Australian artist Fletcher Kent announces his Open To The Light Australian tour, set to sweep across the country in February 2026, lighting up stages in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney as he steps into his first-ever national headline tour.
The announcement lands alongside the release of his new single ‘Open To The Light’, a deeply personal and luminous track marking an exciting new chapter for the Melbourne-based singer-songwriter.
Speaking on the release, Fletcher shares “‘Open to the Light’ was written from a place of anxiety and fear of a changing season in my life. The song is about acknowledging that feeling and then releasing it. Knowing all you can do at any moment is your best. To be present, grateful and welcome the change.”
The headline run follows a landmark year for Fletcher, crowned by the news that he’ll join Lewis Capaldi on his sold-out Australian arena tour kicking off this evening, giving fans the first-ever chance to hear the new single live.
It also follows the nationwide surge of excitement around Fletcher’s recent single ‘Blindspot’. The track has earned major early support, scoring placements on Spotify’s Tapestry and Apple Music’s New In Pop, and being named triple j Unearthed’s Track of the Day before moving into rotation.

Fletcher’s media run has been electric, bouncing between The Maddy Rowe Show, HIT Hot Hits and Introducing with Tim Blackwell, while the airplay keeps stacking up across triple j, triple j Unearthed, HIT Network, and NOVA FM.
Fletcher’s live profile has grown rapidly, including a month-long performance residency at Old Mate’s in New York (the Hamish & Andy co-founded pub), an east coast pub tour, a VIP pre-show performance for Green Day at Marvel Stadium, Live Nation’s Ones To Watch, and a fan-voted slot at Rolling Sets Festival, sharing the stage with Lime Cordiale and The Wombats.
Kent’s growing profile has also been bolstered by consistent media support, with features across Rolling Stone AUS In My Room, Ones To Watch, The Music, Scenestr, Life Without Andy (Artist of the Week), The Partae, Milky, and Aus Music Scene, affirming his status as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging artists.
With a powerful new single and a milestone arena run closing out the year, Fletcher Kent steps into 2026 on a meteoric rise as he gears up for his biggest national tour yet.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
