Sydney pop punk trio Forever Ends Here embark on a bright new beginning with their new single, Unspoken.
The shimmering pop-punk tune reminisces on young love and missed opportunity, thinking back on a past relationship that never found the right moment to bloom. Energetic and wistful, guitars trace vocals throughout the verses and the upbeat chorus evokes feelings of youthful nostalgia.
“Unspoken is about the realisation that you left it too long to open up to someone and missed the window to be together – knowing the other person felt the same, but you both left it unspoken and ended up in different places,” vocalist Luke McChesney shares. “I had to channel my teen self to match the energy of a coming-of-age pop-punk track, and I think this is something we all experienced in some capacity growing up. The secret crush that we’ll probably never talk about.”

Written just over a year ago now, Forever Ends Here backtracked to travel down the rabbit hole of 2000s teen coming-of-age movies, revisiting their bop rock soundtracks and finding inspiration in the infectious chorus hooks and nostalgic energy. “It really feels as though we’ve finally found our sound, all of these years later,” tells McChesney. “Last year was about the reunion, focusing on the pre-hiatus memories and reminding ourselves of why we started this band. Unspoken marks the beginning of the new FEH. We’re treating this like a new band now. Our new baby. We’re more in love with the music than we’ve ever been before and we hope that shows.”
Produced in collaboration with Craig Wilkinson (RedHook), mixed by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Stand Atlantic) and mastered by Grant Berry (Yours Truly, PVRIS), Unspoken is the follow-up to previous single Cherry Chapstick. The new single follows up a hugely successful reunion tour presented by Destroy All Lines last July, which marked 10 years of their debut EP ‘From Where I’d Rather Be’, and saw hundreds of fans pack out rooms across the East Coast.

Australia’s pop punk darlings since 2011, Forever Ends Here is Luke McChesney (vocals/guitar), Mav Burnett (bass) and Kane McChesney (drums). The trio previously headlined several national tours, performed alongside major acts including Simple Plan (US), 5 Seconds Of Summer, State Champs (US), Neck Deep (UK), and Short Stack and released a full-length album before disbanding in 2018. Beginning their journey at just 15 years old, the band rapidly amassed a dedicated fan base that have remained loyal throughout their career.
Forever Ends Here finally look towards expanding their discography with sights set on a larger release later in the year. For now, Unspoken is out now and streaming everywhere!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
