It is just weeks until dynamite UK punks Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes return to Australian shores for their biggest Aussie headline tour yet.

As part of their global tour supporting their third record ‘End Of Suffering’ – which has seen them slay audiences at numerous festivals (Reading Festival clips here and here) and tour alongside Foo Fighters through Europe –  Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes are chomping at the bit to return to Australia, kicking things off at The Triffid in Brisbane on January 16.

Limited tickets remain to all shows, and the band are thrilled to announce the addition of an all ages show in Melbourne, the opening up of an all ages balcony option in Sydney, and a brand new 18+ show at Dark Mofo’s Altar venue in Hobart. In addition to this great news the band are also thrilled to announce their tour supports:

A SWAYZE & THE GHOSTS | Sydney & Melbourne LISTEN

EAT YOUR HEART OUT  | Brisbane & Sydney LISTEN

PSYCHOBABEL | Melbourne LISTEN

YOUNG OFFENDERS | Adelaide LISTEN

RATKING | Perth LISTEN

The national run is the band’s fourth Aussie stint in just over two years, and after selling out dates across the country previously, will see the band hit their largest Australian headline venues yet, and perform to fans in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart and Perth.

Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes were last in Australia in April this year, supporting fellow UK heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon and were met with widespread praise from national media for their trademark high energy, unpredictable live performances shaking up the corporate arenas.

LISTEN TO ‘END OF SUFFERING’ HERE

The latest LP ‘End Of Suffering’ – named after the Buddhist term for enlightenment – is the sound of Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes entering an entirely new realm of the senses, a forty minute rock’n’rollercoaster of molten-hot bangers, scorched-soul ballads and grunge lullabies laced through with a lacerating lyrical honesty. The album was recorded with Cam Blackwood (George Ezra / Jack Savoretti) at the helm and legendary mixer Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails / Queens Of The Stone Age) sprinkling sonic stardust. Indeed. In an age of say-nothing pop and codified corporate rock, “End Of Suffering” does what all great music should- lift the spirits and stir the soul.

The album also features Tom Morello as a guest guitarist on ‘Tyrant Lizard King’. The two re-connected after many years at Resurrection Festival in Spain last summer, where Frank infamously sung Rage classic ‘Killing In The Name’ to a 40,000 strong crowd, finishing the track with a stage dive worthy of the rock’n’roll hall of fame.
