G FLIP aka drummer turned singer, songwriter and producer Georgia Flipo today shares new song, ‘GET ME OUTTA HERE’. The bold and brash single is driven by a powerful drum line and backed by G Flip’s relentless vocals. It marks a stunning continuation of their new-era sound. Filmed in LA, the unapologetically personal official music video starring Chrishell Stause (of Selling Sunset fame) also lands today, listen/watch HERE.
G Flip shares: “GET ME OUTTA HERE’ was written about getting hurt by someone and then being so emotionally done with the drama that you just walk away, peace out, and have literally no f*cks to give anymore.
This song was one of the first tracks I wrote when I moved to LA, co-written and co-produced with my good friend Dan Farber. As drums are my first instrument and I’m a former session drummer, I always wanted to write a track based around that very driving “billie jean” style drum beat, it’s the first kit groove you normally learn when you start playing drums. So the whole song was written around this drum groove that glues ‘GET ME OUTTA HERE’ together.
Chrishell Stause stars in the music video, it was an incredible shoot with an amazing team and proud to say 80% of the crew on set for the clip are queer.”
It’s been a big 12 months of collaborations for Melbourne’s own multi-hyphenate. ‘GET ME OUTTA HERE’ follows the angsty ‘GAY 4 ME’, which saw them team up with US singer-songwriter Lauren Sanderson. In the months prior, they shared ‘Queen feat. mxmtoon’ (#64 triple j Hottest 100), ‘Waiting Game feat. renforshort’, ‘Not Even In Vegas feat. Thomas Headon’ and ‘Scream feat. Upsahl’. The international love didn’t stop there as G recently scored support slots with KFlay and Fletcher on their respective US Tours.
Since releasing their debut hit ‘About You’— which took them from bedroom producer to national queer icon — G Flip has sold out all 5 of their Australian national headline tours, released a critically-acclaimed debut record (titled About Us), been nominated for three ARIA Awards, won a MTV EMA Award, scored 9 places in triple j’s Hottest 100 (from 2019-2021), headlined Sydney’s Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, and recently recorded an original song for Netflix film Back To The Outback. Consistently proving themselves to be one of the country’s most extraordinary artists, they have also earned a number of gold, platinum and multi-platinum singles.
G Flip is set to return home to Australia this month to play Bass In The Grass, Splendour In The Grass and Spin Off before a run of summer festival sets, which will see them cap off the year at Spilt Milk, Falls Festival and Lost Paradise.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
