G Flip aka Melbourne-based singer, drummer, producer and multi-talented performer Georgia Flipo shares a new single today titled ‘I Am Not Afraid’. Co-produced by Ariel Rechtsaid (HAIM, Vampire Weekend, Adele, Blood Orange) at his studio in LA, ‘I Am Not Afraid’ is a self-empowerment anthem that is G to the core: passionate, towering and unapologetic.

G Flip says: “Everyone has roadblocks in life, tough situations that are hard to get through and the only way to overcome them are to say ‘I Am Not Afraid’. Whether it’s getting out of a toxic relationship, coming out to your family or getting bullied. Life throws shit at you and you have to be brave. You have to stand tall and rise above it.”
‘I Am Not Afraid’ arrives after Flipo entered 2019 blazing with two new tracks. The gorgeously emotive ‘Bring Me Home’ reflects a time when relentless pressure led to a breakdown during the most intense period of her life and the summery pop gem ‘Drink Too Much’ reveals how hedonism hides heartbreak. Watch the video for ‘Drink Too Much’ starring Australian model Steph Claire Smith here.
It’s been just over 12 months now since G Flip debuted her first single ‘About You’, marking the arrival of an exciting new talent. The breakout single scored a Pitchfork Best New Track, topped US college radio, landed in the top 20 of the Spotify Global Viral Charts and along with the wildly catchy ‘Killing My Time’ was championed by Beats 1 (Zane Lowe, Matt Wilkinson), BBC Radio 1 (Annie Mac, Phil Taggart, Huw Stephens), KCRW, NPR and triple j. She has since sold out every Australian headline show she has announced, amassed over 35 million streams collectively with all four releases, wowed festival crowds at SXSW, The Great Escape, Field Day UK, Splendour in the Grass, Laneway Festival and managed to bag two places in triple j’s Hottest 100 (#38 ‘About You’ #62 ‘Killing My Time’).
G Flip will play the Groovin the Moo regional tour this month along with an entire run of sold out headline dates before heading to the UK and EU in May and performing at Lollapalooza and Reading & Leeds Festival.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
