Australian pop outfit Glades are back with their latest pop offering “Dancing In The Mirror”. Following on from previous singles “Crush”, “Blonde” and “Vertigo”, the track is the latest taste of music from the trio’s forthcoming album ‘Planetarium’, due for release on April 30. Stream and download the track HERE.
“Dancing In The Mirror” explicitly achieves frontwoman Karina Savage’s goal to show a newfound love for her own image. It’s an upbeat, unapologetic track with a chorus that soars into euphoria. “I’m not ashamed to say that I did struggle with my own body image,” she says, talking about the song.
“For a long time a mirror was something that I shied away from and I felt bad about myself looking in the mirror.” This song reclaims the mirror as a positive symbol as she proclaims in the chorus, “Lately I’ve been dancing in the mirror.”

Glades’ second album ‘Planetarium’ marks a confident new chapter for the Sydney-raised trio who now live in LA. The personal but danceable record bursts with charisma and vulnerability while retaining the same endearing electro-pop traits that defined their debut album ‘To Love You’. It’s the sound of a band who have tapped into newfound confidence. It radiates with crystalline vocals, bounding beats, and magnetic hooks. Lyrically, it’s a declaration of self-confidence, embracing both self-love and transparency in sharing emotion.
Glades is vocalist Karina Savage (previously Wykes) and multi-instrumentalists/ producers Joey Wenceslao and Cam Robertson.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
