Winners of the 2022
National Uncaged Festival
Sydney Band competitionFollowing the success of their first two single releases “Save Your Breath” and “Robin The Hood”, GLASSHAWK release a brand new single titled “Never Wanna Wait” in the lead up to their debut EP “Kolorblind” which is releasing later this year.
The brand new single showcase’s the diverse musical journey this band has to offer. Formed in 2020, GLASSHAWK won the Sydney leg of the Uncaged Festival competition, highly impressing the judging panel with their high energy, big riffs and most importantly the staggering amount of votes they received from the public during the contest. They shared the stage with amazing artist Wolfmother, Shihad, You Am I and many more Produced by Gus Bonic of Sonic By Bonic Studios and mastered by Grammy Award winning Ted Jenson from Sterling Sound in Nashville, ‘Never Wanna Wait” is a song about constantly being let down, gas lit, talked about behind your back, used, abused, forgotten, left behind, and finally making the decision to walk away from it all.
The lyric video – produced by Aaron Smith uses a combination of artwork created by artist Steinball integrated into AI utilising key prompts to connect with the story behind the song. It captures the jarring mania of heartbreak / pain that perfectly blends with the foreboding riffs and menacing bass lines The verdict is in; GLASSHAWK is a riot of rock, with a grinding sound that explodes in your ears. Their latest release ‘Never Wanna Wait” plunges into stark and unforgiving depths and heralds GLASSHAWK as an act dedicated to bare-boned, blistering hard rock.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
