Ringing in the New Year for 2023, one of Australia’s most adored summer festival, Lost Paradise, today announces its anticipated return by unveiling an all-star lineup. Taking over Glenworth Valley from Wednesday, December 28 2022 to Sunday, January 1 2023, the mammoth lineup of international superstars and fierce local talent includes Arctic Monkeys, Lil Nas X, Peggy Gou, Jamie xx, Ben Böhmer, Ocean Alley, Spacey Jane, G Flip, PinkPantheress, Ebony Boadu, and loads more.

Touching back down on Aussie soil for an unforgettable headlining performance are UK rock sensations and universally loved act, Arctic Monkeys. Best known for their hit singles, “R U Mine” and “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High” from their celebrated 2013 AM album, the global heartthrobs have become one of the most successful bands in the UK and beyond. Stealing Aussie hearts with their track “Do I Wanna Know”, voted #3 in triple j’s top tracks of the decade, expect nothing less than perfection as they set to shower crowds with their endless catalogue of fan favourite hits.

Also joining the mega billing schedule and making his Australian and Lost Paradise debut is U.S. pop superstar Lil Nas X. Since bursting onto the scene with his viral hit single “Old Town Road” which earned him a remix from country icon Billy Ray Cyrus, the 23 year old has since gone onto release his debut album Montero, collaborating with likes of Cardi B, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion as well as Jack Harlow for their Grammy award-winning performance of “Industry Baby”. Known for his captivating presence and show-stopping live performances, Lil Nas X will have your full attention as he touches down on Aussie soil for the first time, storming through the Glenworth Valley for a very special debut this December.

Ocean Alley join the resounding list of stellar local legends returning to Lost Paradise, eager to cast their psychedelic surf rock spell over fans with tracks like their smash hit “Confidence”, and “Stained Glass” off their 2020 ARIA nominated project Lonely Diamond. WA-based indie rockers and ARIA winners, Spacey Jane, will take to the Lost Paradise stage like hometown heroes with their Aussie bangers. Aussie icon G-Flip will deliver a dose of pop-power to fans with her popular sing-along tracks.

One of TikTok’s most viral artists, Pink Pantheress adds to the star-studded line-up. With tracks like “Break It Off” and “Pain” the English producer-songwriter will be bringing her own eclectic “new nostalgic” sound to Aussie ears. Ghanian-born, Canberra-raised Genesis Owusu will be bringing a delectable smorgasbord of hits from his ARIA award-winning debut project Smiling With No Teeth, while the ever so groovy Young Franco prepares to leave you sweat-soaked with crowd-moving club-ready hits like “About This Thing” and “Fallin Apart”. Stepping up next is Sydney artist MAY-A, who’s debut album Don’t Kiss Your Friends, and feature on Flume’s “Say Nothing” has seen her grow into one of Australia’s most exciting artists, taking home Rolling Stone Australia’s 2022 Best New Artist award. Continuing this year’s dream lineup will be the trailblazing hip-hop up-and-comers and 2022 Acclaim All Star inductees, 1300, before the jewel of Red Bull and triple j’s 2022 Ones To Watch roster Elsy Wameyo takes centre stage, delivering the emboldened swagger from her debut EP Nilotic.

Returning to Australia is Berlin-based, South Korean DJ legend, Peggy Gou. Having played two sold out shows in Sydney earlier this year, Peggy will be bringing an unforgettable experience to the Lost Paradise stage. Lost Paradise welcomes producer and highly sought-after remixer Jamie xx to the Glenworth Valley. Having cemented himself as a staple in the sound of the early 2000s providing club-shaking remixes for artists such as Adele, Florence + The Machine and more, the London-born artist is ready with festival ready dance hits like “Idontknow” and “Let’s Do It Again” this December.

Rising German electronic star Ben Böhmer will be serving up his progressive deep–techno grooves to the Glenworth Valley for the very first time. Hailing from Bulgaria is none other than the dynamic live performance of techno king KiNK, who’ll keep vibes high with his high energy, broken-beat house cuts. A special highlight from NME, Mixmag, Billboard, DJ Mag and BBC R1’s “One To Watch” list, is London-based TSHA who will deliver the sounds from her most ambitious project to date, Flowers, before London four-to-the-floor expert Shanti Celeste storms the stage, playing back-to-back sets with fellow Londoner Moxie.

Spinning the decks during New Years will be DJ and host of BBC1 Radio’s ‘Residency’ Heidi. Having built her notoriety soundtracking the UK’S nightlife for years through her Jackathon live event series, fans can expect to feel an explosive force from one of the UK’s greatest. Splashing a vibrant haze onto the Paradisians is Aussie national treasure HAAi, who’ll be spinning joints from her enthralling debut album Baby, We’re Ascending. Having cemented herself as one of Melbourne’s breakout selectors, Lisbon-based radio host, label head and DJ CC:DISCO! joins the roster, bringing irrevocable energy with her infectious house, boogie and disco cuts. Playlisting only the quintessential dance-floor heaters, CC:DISCO!’s return to Australia is not to be missed.
