Multi-platinum Colombian singer, songwriter, producer, and musician Camilo (@camilo) joins this year’s star-studded Global Citizen Festival lineup, bringing his signature sound and uplifting spirit as a performer at Central Park’s Great Lawn on Saturday, September 27, 2025 in New York City. Known for his heartfelt songwriting and genre-blending hits, the Colombian superstar has become one of Latin music’s most influential voices, with billions of streams and a global fan base that spans continents.
Global Citizen Festival marks Camilo’s return to New York City’s Central Park, following a sold-out headline show this summer at the Central Park Summer Stage during the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC), where he delivered a celebrated headline performance to thousands of cheering fans. “I didn’t know it was possible to perform in Central Park, so when I [got the call]…I couldn’t believe it. It’s iconic s–t,” Camilo shared with WWD earlier in the week. “…I know it’s gonna be something that we’re gonna remember for the rest of our lives.” and it was!
Camilo will share the Global Citizen Festival stage with headliners The Weeknd and Shakira, as well as Tyla, Ayra Starr, and Mariah the Scientist. This year’s campaign is driving commitments to protect 30 million hectares of the Amazon rainforest, expand access to education and football for 30,000 children, provide energy access for 1 million people across Africa, and mobilize 40,000 New Yorkers to volunteer across the city. Fresh off a record-breaking international tour, Camilo’s performance will showcase the unifying power of music as he lends his voice to Global Citizen’s mission to drive action against poverty, defend the planet, and demand equity.

Earlier in the month, Camilo will also head to Spain to join the Latin GRAMMY® Celebra: La Música de Andalucía on September 10 at Sevilla’s Cartuja Center CITE, joining an extraordinary lineup that includes David Bisbal, Manuel Carrasco, Vanesa Martín, India Martínez, Aitana, Arde Bogotá, Arcángel, Yerai Cortés, Estopa, Evaluna, Guillermo Furiase, Joaquina, Lagartija Nick, Pedro Antonio Lazaga, Leiva, Alejandro Lerner, Ara Malikian, Kiki Morente, and Lucía Ruibal, among others to be announced. Together, these artists will honor Andalucía’s profound musical legacy, from the traditions of flamenco to contemporary Latin rhythms. Camilo’s performance underscores the region’s enduring influence on global music while highlighting his own commitment to bridging cultures through song.
Camilo is currently wrapping a 16-city summer tour in Spain. The trek has already brought unforgettable magic to venues like the Gran Canaria Arena, where fans were treated to both his latest single “Maldito ChatGPT” and other beloved anthems. In October, Camilo will return to Japan for Coca-Cola x Fes at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama. Fans can expect more live dates to be announced in the coming weeks.
Recently, Camilo reached his 31st career nomination at Premios Juventud receiving 4 new nominations this year for his latest and fourth studio album “cuatro”. Camilo will perform on Premios Juvetud on September 25 live from Panama City, Panama, airing on TelevisaUnivision.

The 6x Latin GRAMMY award winner and 3x GRAMMY nominee’s clever love single, “Maldito ChatGPT” and its Severance inspired official music video sees Camilo spiral in a dim, windowless office, surrounded by chaos: papers strewn on the floor, post-it notes scattered across the walls, and existential questions about his relationship filling the air as well as his computer screen.
Reflecting on his creative process recently in a reent interview with Billboard’s Leila Cobo: “When it comes to writing my songs, I’m systematically opposed to being a perfectionist. For me, perfectionism is a burden, a mask of cowardice. We’re going to perceive excellence and it’s measured in the final product. It’s measured in the totality. I have the philosophy of ‘good enough.’ If I feel the song is good enough, that’s it — we’ll move on to the next one. When your creative brain is burned out, that’s when you start creating, and you ask yourself, ‘Is it good enough?’ Yes, next! Whatever is closest to the first creative seed is almost always the best.” Read more on the panel Here.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
