Gold Member tell a tale of misadventures with genre-pushing new single ‘Wild Stories’, and announce their forthcoming debut album.
Taking a little inspiration from electro, a bit from dub and a lot of pop-grooves ‘Wild Stories’ will prove to be the summer earworm you’ve been waiting for. Whoozing synths and irresistible melodies provide a cinematic vehicle for the retelling of the band’s ‘Wild Stories’.
The single follows on from 2017’s breakout ‘Sweetest Thing’ marking their arrival, storming the triple j unearthed charts, and paving the way for slow jam ‘Waiting For You’ which has ticked over 360,000 Spotify streams.
Their signature sound has been heard around the country and abroad playing sets at Festival of the Sun, Party in the Paddock, Beyond the Valley and Woodford Folk Festival plus supports for Lime Cordiale and Kim Churchill. Taking their antics international, the band supported Boo Seeka on their lengthy European tour and were included on New Zealand’s Bay Dreams Festival, ensuring they’re no strangers to the stage.
Already locking in an epic 2019, Gold Member will once again grace the stages of Bay Dreams before returning to begin the annual Shake and Bake national tour.
Prepare to hear more of their multi-faceted sound in 2019 as the band release their debut album.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
