Sydney-based artist services agency Good Intent and events management company Bingo Loco have just announced the opening of their brand-new joint venture ‘Good Loco’ – a photography and videography suite and space for hire located in Marrickville, Sydney.
Featuring one of the largest cycloramas in the area, the new studio is also fully equipped with a diverse range of cameras (Fuji, Canon) and lighting gear (Profoto). The space is also fully fitted out with a make-up and dressing room, vocal booth, props on standby, bathroom, kitchen, bar and green room with recreational facilities.
To celebrate the launch, Good Loco will also be offering up its first month of bookings in November at no charge for independent musicians.
Good Loco Co-Director Rob Carroll describes the motivation behind the project: “Good Intent are super fortunate and excited to launch ‘Good Loco’ with our close friends at Bingo Loco. In the face of 2020’s adversity and being extremely bored, we’re working to use our time valuably by setting up various projects that are more likely to thrive in a world of restrictions and uncertainty. After a series of opportunities fortuitously presented themselves, we pounced on the idea of setting up an inclusive and affordable space for hire, where artists and many others can create meaningful and engaging content. As this year has been so challenging for artists, we’d love to give back to the community we are a part of, by offering up free use of the space and equipment throughout the whole month of November to independent musicians.”
To claim the free booking offer, artists simply just need to head over to the Good Loco website, click the ‘Book Now’ tab, enter the code ‘Indie’ and follow the prompts for their preferred date in November. Artists are welcome to bring their own camera operator(s) or alternatively, the team at Good Loco can connect them with one of the photographers / videographers for hire via their network.
Good Intent first launched in late-2018 and offers a range of services across artist management, PR, radio plugging, club promotions, DSP servicing, worldwide blogs and label services. Current and previous clients include the likes of BMG, Sony, Universal, Handsome Tours, Astral People, Chugg Music, American Hi-Fi (USA), Bas (USA), Freddie Gibbs (USA), Bag Raiders, Gyroscope, Harts, Bootleg Rascal, Citizen Kay, RedHook, Down For Tomorrow and SCABZ.
Bingo Loco is one of Australia’s most exciting new events; Lonely Planet describe it as ”Nothing short of an entertainment phenomenon”. Previous productions have sold out venues such as the Enmore Theatre, Metro Theatre, 170 Russell, Freo Social and Big Top.
