Formed by Melbourne singer-songwriter Guy Perkins in 2017, Grand Pine are one of Australia’s most promising up and coming Indie Folk bands. Their fourth single, ‘Heart’, recorded and mixed by band member Connor Black-Harry (Greta Ray, Nancie Schipper, Annelise Rose) and mastered by Adam Dempsey (Angie McMahon, Didirri, Courtney Barnett), ‘Heart’ has hauntingly beautiful vocals with ambient guitar swells and deeply echoing synth chords.
Defined by tight harmonies that soar throughout the room, Grand Pine create an atmospheric sound filled with beautiful melodies, soft keys and a steady rhythm. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Andy Shauf and The Paper Kites, Grand Pine explore the depths of humanity, dipping into a well of emotions and extracting the essence of life, love and loss.

“‘Heart’ was written about the fragility of relationships based on mutual emotional dependence and the need for emotional and physical comfort even at the detriment of your own long-term psyche.” – Guy Perkins (Grand Pine)
To celebrate the release of ‘Heart’ – Grand Pine will be heading off on a two show tour in Melbourne and Canberra.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
