announces full line-up

The NSW Government’s live music initiative Great Southern Nights has added over 30 new artists to complete a stellar line-up performing from 18 March to 10 April.
Ball Park Music, Confidence Man, Illy, Kate Ceberano, Marcia Hines, Montaigne Sheppard and The Jungle Giants are among the headline performers added to an already star-studded line-up for the three-week program being delivered by Destination NSW and Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).

Minister for Enterprise, Investment and Trade, Minister for Tourism and Sport, and Minister for Western Sydney Stuart Ayres said Great Southern Nights will be a celebration of live music that will stimulate the NSW visitor economy.
“I am thrilled that so many more talented artists have joined Great Southern Nights, which already includes the likes of Amy Shark, Baker Boy, Jimmy Barnes, Courtney Barnett, Jessica Mauboy, Peking Duk and The Veronicas,” Mr Ayres said.
“The live music scene makes a significant contribution to our social and economic wellbeing. As part of our roadmap to recovery it is vital that we get it back on its feet.
“This will create jobs for artists and crew, revenue for venues and drive visitation to large parts of regional NSW that have done it tough over the past few years.
“Hundreds of Great Southern Nights gigs will take place right across NSW, from Byron Bay to Albury and Sydney to Broken Hill. With almost half of the gigs in regional NSW there is good chance there will be one somewhere near you.”

ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd said Great Southern Nights will reignite the NSW live music scene after an extraordinarily challenging time for the industry.
“Great Southern Nights will have artists, crew and music venues back to doing what they love and do best – putting on shows and getting people out to experience the joy of live music again” Ms Herd said.
“Great Southern Nights was such a huge success in 2020 and is exactly what our industry needs right now, so we’re excited to see Australia’s best talent wanting to be involved in 2022.
“We’re proud to play an integral part in this vital project at this much needed time.”
Household names, emerging talents and grassroots local acts will take part in Great Southern Nights from 18 March to 10 April.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
