“In putting the Great Southern Nights gig guide together, we will be taking Aussie music to almost every corner of NSW,” Mr Rosen said. “It won’t be long until music-lovers can get their hands on some tickets to a Great Southern Nights gig or two, or three or more!”

The exciting gig guide and when tickets will be on sale shall be announced soon.

What is Great Southern Nights?

Great Southern Nights is a series of individual gigs (1000 total) that will take place in various venues across NSW, throughout November 2020.

What Great Southern Nights gigs will be playing near me?

Great Southern Nights events will take place right across NSW, from Greater Sydney to regional NSW – so there is a good chance a Great Southern Nights gig will be happening near you.

Stay tuned to www.greatsouthernnights.com.au for further information about the program as it is finalised.

Are artists touring? How do I see my favourite artist/s?

Great Southern Nights is not a touring festival, but instead a program of 1000 individual gigs occurring across NSW throughout November. Each gig will include a main artist and support act, and the gig guide will include a wide variety of genres, locations and ticket prices. The gig guide will allow music-lovers to search by artist, venue, location and date – start here to plan your Great Southern Nights itinerary.

Will Great Southern Nights events be COVID safe?

All participating venues in Great Southern Nights will be required to meet the prevailing NSW Government health advice and COVID-19 requirements when hosting their event.

Why was Great Southern Nights created?

The Great Southern Nights event has been established by the NSW Government to stimulate the revival of the live music, entertainment, hospitality and tourism sectors, in the recovery phase of COVID-19.

All NSW live music venues were encouraged to apply for a financial contribution from Great Southern Nights to host a show and be part of the official program. This application process is now closed.

Feature artists are programmed by ARIA following submissions from leading artist management agencies.
