“…hitting that perfect balance between super salient and subtle, working in pure sync with the various layers that glitter and shimmer with quirkiness.” – LIFE WITHOUT ANDY
“It’s an antipodean psych adventure and between the moments of bliss and the accelerations, it’s becoming clear that greatest hits aren’t a flash in the pan.” – DECLAN BYRNE, TRIPLE J
“…the Gold Coast-based groove lords fuse ’70s psych, indie pop and funk for an irresistible sound that’s easy on the ears and even easier to shake it down to on the dancefloor.” – MIXDOWN

Gold Coast trio Greatest Hits, have recently shared their next groove-laden single ‘Spicy‘ alongside a delightful visual that will have you up and dancing like nobody’s watching!
Lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Ryan Cooper explains the themes behind new single ‘Spicy’, “I was never the super confident kid. I particularly remember watching others shred up the dance floor, while I watched from the side. I had all the desire, but never the boldness to back it up. I think we’ve all felt the pressure of onlooking eyes, which has stopped us stepping out into something, or letting our true selves loose. “Spicy” is about revisiting those feelings, recognising the fire in your belly, and throwing caution to the wind.” The colourful artwork for the single was created by artist, Alan Fears.
It’s been a huge 2021 so far for Greatest Hits, they’ve hit the road for their own headline shows and supported the likes of San Cisco, The Buoys, The Grogans and Donny Benet. They also released single ‘Palm Springs’ which was officially added to triple j unearthed and was also named one of Life Without Andy’s Homegrown Fire picks for the week. Greatest Hits released their six track debut EP Volume One in September 2020. Volume One features singles ‘Trying’ and ‘Phil, Slow It Down’ which received an official triple j addition and saw further praise from the likes of NME, Mixdown, Life Without Andy and many more.
Blending 70’s groove, sunshine pop, and neo-psych, with lyrical sarcasm, Australian/English band, Greatest Hits is the project of artist Ryan Cooper, and a collective of friends. In their current incarnation, Greatest Hits are Ryan Cooper, Chelsea Foley and Henry Chatham. The culmination of events that has surrounded the band’s development has produced a sound and culture that is full of both energy and vulnerability, timeless groove and modern sensibilities. Watch this space, as there’s much more to come from Greatest Hits before the end of 2021!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
