“…hitting that perfect balance between super salient and subtle, working in pure sync with the various layers that glitter and shimmer with quirkiness.” – LIFE WITHOUT ANDY
“A joyous indie jam, pure and simple.” – RICHARD KINGSMILL, TRIPLE J
“…the Gold Coast-based groove lords fuse ’70s psych, indie pop and funk for an irresistible sound that’s easy on the ears and even easier to shake it down to on the dancefloor.” – MIXDOWN

Gold Coast based, Australian/British band, Greatest Hits exist in the space between Sunshine Pop, 70’s groove, and Neo-Psych. Never leaning heavily enough toward a particular genre to label them as such, they’ve instead established their own brand of danceable, yet vulnerable energy. Today, they’ve shared their latest dreamy single ‘Nuclear Love’ and are excited to announce their second EP, aptly titled Greatest HIts Volume Two will be released on Friday, 3 December. They’ll also be playing a handful of headline shows in December and will be hitting the road with Stumps, early next year. Tickets and more info available HERE.
It’s been a huge 2021 for Greatest Hits, they’ve hit the road for their own headline shows and supported the likes of King Stingray, San Cisco, The Buoys and Donny Benet. Their single ‘Palm Springs’ was officially added to triple j unearthed and was also named one of Life Without Andy’s Homegrown Fire picks for the week.
The Greatest Hits Volume Two EP has seen the band work with Shags Chamberlain (Mac Demarco, Weyes Blood, Drugdealer) to produce a sound that is full of both timeless groove and modern sensibilities. “It always seemed far easier to express optimism and confidence in other people’s abilities than to see the potential in ourselves. The song started after a night with a friend talking through dreams and doubts and was a way to say all of the things you want to do that you think might be crazy, they are all totally possible!’ It turned into something I realised I needed to hear as much as anyone else so “Nuclear Love” became a friend to remind us we can be what we want, live our dreams and write our own rules,” says band member Henry Chatham of the latest track.
Greatest Hits came together in their current incarnation after extensive touring with Hollow Coves, and Halfnoise (Zac Farro of Paramore). Songwriter/producer, Ryan Cooper began work on something more accurately reflecting his influences, and was soon joined by Henry Chatham (bass), Chelsea Foley (vocals/percussion), and a rotating lineup of musicians from Leeds (England), where the band initially cut their teeth, before relocating to Australia. Greatest Hits released their six track debut EP Volume One in September 2020. Volume One features singles ‘Trying’ and ‘Phil, Slow It Down’ which received an official triple j addition and saw further praise from the likes of NME, Mixdown, Life Without Andy and many more.
Greatest Hits Volume Two is the seemingly perfect way to wrap up what has been Greatest Hits biggest and brightest year to date.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
