In just under a month, Groovin the Moo (GTM) will open its gates for the first time since 2019 and hoo-boy are we excited. So excited that we’ve added a full crate of the freshest Fresh Produce names to Maitland, Canberra and Bendigo, with over 40 artists set to hit the stages of GTM in April.
Over the years, a bunch of our Fresh Produce artists have graduated to the national touring line up like Confidence Man, Haiku Hands, Alex Lahey and more, along with our 2022 artists Alice Ivy, Hockey Dad, Lime Cordiale, Montaigne, Jesswar and Shouse!
We’re super excited to meet the next batch of future Australian music legends. Join us in welcoming;

AND IN OTHER MOOS…
COMMUNITY ADDITIONS
Our beloved Community Program is back for 2022, giving GTMers those nice feels! Here’s a brief overview of what each show has to offer;
.
MAITLAND
Newcastle Pride’s most glam drag queens and kings will be primed for selfies, dance offs and chit chats or if you want to chill out for a bit, What Were You Wearing will offer a safe space to relax. If you fancy playing some larger than life games, head over to the good folk at HyveMynd who are bringing back Cattleyard Games, last seen in 2019. We’ve teamed up with TAFE NSW and Regional Youth Entertainment Network for work experience and volunteer opportunities. The Maitland Lions Club and Rotary Club of East Maitland will each be running fundraising initiatives whilst assisting in the car park areas at the same time.
.
CANBERRA
Heaps Gay is back and our friends at Phish & Phreak are on board to make it as fabulous as always. Having worked with us at GTM since 2015, Masonga Mbogo is returning to create beautiful art pieces on the black site scrims. Uncle Bill T and his sister Serena Williams will be performing the Welcome To Country, sharing a snippet of their culture on the big stage. To ensure you can snap selfies, capture moments and post stories, Ezycharge will be located in the BeSafe Locker space where you can hire your own locker for the day for $15.
.
BENDIGO
Make sure you say hi to the Dragon City Roller Derby, who will be directing you to the festival entry point. Having been a part of GTM Bendigo from the get go, Hiphopportunities are back and will be showcasing their supreme talents on THE PLOT Stage with their Third Rail Studio Presents program. You can freshen up for a quick “zjoosh” at the Powder Pen thanks to local salon, Honeyeater and find treasures at The Red Cross’ vintage market stall. The Rotary Club of Bendigo Sandhurst, Bendigo Cricket Club and The Lions Club of Strathfieldsaye will be on hand to help GTM patrons and team in the car parks and when heading home. Collarts and YO Events are joining forces with GTM once more to offer large scale event work experience opportunities to their students.

SHOOT THE MOO AND FILM THE MOO
LAST CHANCE TO ENTER!
Are you an avid snapper or film maker and keen to moooove into a career of professional photography or videography? GTM is looking for Australia’s most promising creatives to be part of Shoot the Moo and Film the Moo 2022. The prize will include a GTM merch pack and tickets for you and a friend to your local Groovin the Moo!
The lucky Shoot the Moo winners at each event will score one-on-one time with GTM’s official tour photographer to learn some tricks of the trade, while the Film the Moo winners will have the opportunity to pick the brains of GTM’s official tour videographer during their session. Afterwards, they will join them in the photography pit to snap one of the artists on our touring line up. Entries close Sunday 3 April – more info here!

IMPORTANT TICKETING INFORMATION

We cannot confirm the legitimacy of any tickets purchased via a third-party ticketing outlet or social media and don’t want to see our genuine GTM fans scammed out of their money.
To save you from any extra stress, ensure you already have a Moshtix account (and you know your username and password!) and if not, then don’t forget to sign up for an account in the next few days.
If you are purchasing on behalf of your friends, make sure you have everyone’s full name and date of birth ready to go – double check these! If you need to reissue a ticket for the incorrect spelling or DOB, there is a $10 reissue fee, so make sure it’s correct to start with!

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
