Your favourite festival in the forest is back in 2022 bringing you the best Aussie country, rock, blues and more with our first Gympie Music Muster artist announcement.
Cancellations over the last two years have built anticipation for the best ever Muster, and the event will celebrate its belated 40th birthday with music lovers gathering in Amamoor Creek State Forest in August 2022.
It’s a star-studded line-up, headlined by Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers, John Williamson, Adam Brand, Beccy Cole, Troy Cassar-Daley, Graeme Connors, Don Walker and Brad Cox to name a few – there’ll be more than 100 artists in total!

Country superstar Kernaghan will notch up his 17th Muster next year and cannot wait to be back at one of his favourite events. The Boy from the Bush played his first Muster in 1992 and continues to be a favourite amongst Muster revellers.
“The Gympie Muster holds a special place in my heart,” Lee said. “The atmosphere is always electric and next year’s Muster will be extra special as it falls into my 30th Anniversary Tour. Thirty years since The Outback Club album was released definitely calls for a party, and that is what will be happening on the hill at the legendary Gympie Muster 2022. It’s gonna be a big one. See you all there.”
Kernaghan will be joined by country stars already mentioned, as well as artists across a range of genres including The Black Sorrows, Diesel, The Badloves, and Ash Grunwald – there truly is something for every Muster mate.

Tourism Minister Stirling Hinchcliffe said the Gympie Music Muster is a key feature on the It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar.
“We can’t wait to welcome country music fans to the Gympie region to experience one of Australia’s best camping and music experiences.
“The event attracts tens of thousands of people to the region which supports local cafes and restaurants, accommodation and tourism operators.
“The Queensland Government is committed to supporting events that will reunite communities, drive visitation and showcase regions on a national stage.
“We encourage visitors to stay a little longer to experience some of the diverse and natural tourism assets on offer here.”

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
