After years of enamouring fans with their post hardcore-meets-alternative metal swagger and high octane live shows, Gold Coast rockers HAMMERS arrive in 2026 armed with the long-awaited release of their debut full-length album DEATH WOBBLES, set to unleash on January 23 via Summerland Records. And to celebrate this momentous milestone, the band will also embark on an extensive East Coast run this March and April for their official DEATH WOBBLES Album Launch Tour.

Kicking off on Friday 6 March in Wollongong, HAMMERS will trek through Sydney, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ballarat, Melbourne and Coffs Harbour, before concluding on Saturday 18 April in Lismore. Tickets for the DEATH WOBBLES Album Launch Tour are on-sale now from: here.

And if that’s not enough rock and/or roll for you, HAMMERS are also thrilled to announce today that they will be supporting iconic Aussie trio Cog as part of the Walk The Line headline tour this April, joining Cog in Canberra, Wollongong, Penrith, Chelsea Heights and Barwon Heads (and Cog fans, keep your eyes out for more support announcements soon!). Tickets for Cog’s new headline shows on-sale from: here.

“We can’t wait to hit the road with these newies,” shares vocalist and guitarist Lucas Stone. “We have our work cut out for us but taking pride in delivering live what we deliver recorded, as a real band playing our shit – for real – is at the fore for us. We believe in the depth and intention of this new material. It was dredged up by the turning of many tides in 5 mature men’s lives on this crazy sphere in the 2020’s. We hope all walks of life come to connect and celebrate the unity we have found in this little band, with us, and that it fuels their community fire.”

An album steeped in post-hardcore and alternative metal flavours, forged with the group’s trademark swagger, grit and blistering charm, DEATH WOBBLES also marks a significant progression for HAMMERS, both sonically and spiritually, with the group pushing their own creative boundaries and the very confines of what it means to be a heavy band in the 21st century across the space of 12 tracks.

Firmly flying the flag for true blue Australian rock’n’roll in a modern industry where fortune rarely seems to favour the bold, HAMMERS’ uncompromising wares have continually transcended any roadblocks in their way, striking an unforgettable balance between flippant fun and searing substance without sacrificing genuine craftsmanship. Equally in-demand onstage as they are for their diverse sonic smorgasbord, HAMMERS ticked off their first international tour in 2024, headlining in New Zealand and Japan, and have previously shared stages with the likes of He Is Legend, Mammal, and The Butterfly Effect, as well as their own renowned headline shows.

Closing out 2025 with their Moment Of Struth Australian headline run and also supporting Aussie rock icons Cog, HAMMERS are now primed to unleash their maiden full-length album at last later this month, releasing via Summerland Records, an independent label run by the band’s own Stone and Ricky T. With a new album, more videos, international touring, new merch and “more dumb pirate skullduggery” in the very near future, HAMMERS are primed to take on the world, armed with fortitude and an unwavering passion for what they do.

“It’s been a few years in the making so knowing that we’re only a few weeks out from releasing it into the wild is riddled with equal parts relief and anxiety,” Stone concludes. “Personally, it’s been a wild beast to tame and consolidate as a writer, as there’s so much colour and individuality across the personality in this band. But I do believe that this is, 1. a significant stepping stone in our development and identity as a band cutting our own cookie and 2. a perfect representation of where we are at, right now. Can’t ask for much more than that.”
