HAPPY MONDAYS
return to Australia
and New Zealand in
September 2026
.

Pioneers of the iconic Madchester sound, the Happy Mondays are heading back to Australia and New Zealand to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their seminal album, Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches.
Fusing funk, rock, psychedelia, and house with the pulsating energy of the UK’s burgeoning rave scene, the Happy Mondays became the face of a cultural revolution. Their 1990 release, Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches, catapulted them into the mainstream, spending over six months on the UK Albums Chart and earning its place as one of the defining records of the decade.
Fronted by the inimitable Shaun Ryder, with Bez ( freaky dancing and percussion), Mark Day (guitar), Gary Whelan (drums), Mikey Shine (bass) Dan Broad (musical director/guitar/keys) and Firouzeh Berry (backing vocals), the band will perform highlights from the classic album; including anthems like Step On, Kinky Afro, and Loose Fit, alongside fan favourites such as 24 Hour Party People, Hallelujah, Judge Fudge, and W.F.L.
Their enduring influence on British music was formally recognised in 2016 when they received the prestigious Ivor Novello Inspiration Award, a testament to their legacy as one of the UK’s most beloved and groundbreaking bands.

‘Always a great buzz when we play Australia and New Zealand . Looking forward to bringing the Happy Mondays Pills ‘n’ Thrills party there in September’’ – Shaun Ryder
This isn’t just a tour, it’s a full-throttle revival of Madchester chaos, and the year’s wildest party is coming.
“Funky dancing, maraca shaking, and incredible vocal performances Happy Mondays showed why they were so big in the 90s and have been able to keep that special place in the hearts of the fans for so long.’’ – Music News Monthly
“With Bez and Ryder’s between song banter raising the amusement stakes, the promised Hallelujah was given an airing and its iconic sounds had the crowd bouncing and swaying, it was clear that the Monday’s have lost none of their magic. They are still funky, downright vulgar but so endearing.’’ – UK Music Reviews
“The show was packed with anthems. Friday night’s headline set from the Happy Mondays provided a wonderful dose of nostalgia from one of Manchester’s most iconic outfits.’’ – The Northern Echo

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
