Coming in hot with a second release for the year, dreamy pop duo Have A Good Day are to release their glittery single ‘Feels Like Magic’ on May 4.
Met with astounding responses on their debut release ‘Somebody, Nobody’, Have A Good Day turns up the glittery daydream of sugary synth-pop with their latest track. The energetic, upbeat sweetness bursts with colour throughout ‘Feels Like Magic’.
Echoing with explosive joy, the track flows seamlessly with trancing beats, playful bouncing synths and a catchy, chant-worthy chorus. It is a feel-good release capturing the moment of feeling free in a neat glimmering package.
‘Feels Like Magic’ is an anthem of bliss after releasing external expectations and finding that internal validation for the first time. Tailing from their previous single, Have A Good Day explores internal exploration and enjoying the moments of self-discovery.
Opening the track with the lyrics “Every living thing changes, you did the same”, the track finds acceptance at the end of a relationship. Resolving in the pre-chorus with “I’ll find a place inside where there is joy” before bursting into the triumphant sentiment “It feels like magic”.
Like magic, the two only met in late 2022 but became fast friends, bonding over a mutual pursuit of the perfect summer anthem and a fixation for creativity. Individually they have a wealth of experience playing key roles in other projects where they have shared the stage with artists including Siobhan Cotchin, Dulcie, The Presets, Wafia, San Cisco, ALPINE, the duo are paving a new path with Have A Good Day. Most recently, they’ve performed at Dark Sky Festival (WA) and announced signing to Cut Above Collective who are in partnership with Mellen Events and Live Nation Australia.
Their debut single had its first spin on Triple J Unearthed, with plays from Triple J, ABC Radio and community radio across AUS and received praise from publications like The Music, AAA Backstage, Scenestr and Niche Music, amongst others.
Let the sunshine stream through with ‘Feels Like Magic’ by Have A Good Day out Thursday, May 4 and catch the duo live on May 13, supporting Jade Rich at The Bird in Perth.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
