Amidst the rising success of his latest sonic triumph “Just Friends” feat. Boy Matthews, Sydney’s leading producer Hayden James shares the glowing single’s video ahead of a highly anticipated homecoming tour across multiple sold-out venues.

The visuals echoed through a vintage summer lens, bring to life the song’s depiction of two young friends navigating the ambiguous territory drifting between friendship and romance. Flashes between sun-drenched scenes tease of their developing will-they won’t-they relationship, while moments of playful flirting and escalating passion are invigorated by James’ driving bass lines and alluring momentum.

With its infectious rolling grooves, soulful harmonies and direct vocals from Boy Matthews, “Just Friends” has received major radio support from community radio, Nova and Hit networks alike as well as high rotation on triple j. The single has cracked #42 in ARIA singles charts in just 3 weeks, with over 8 million impressions globally. “Just Friends” follows on from the previous platinum-certified summer anthem, “NUMB” feat. GRAACE which is a captivating arrangement of velvety vocals and crafty synthesisers.

The video arrives ahead of the world premiere of Hayden’s new live show during a homecoming tour later this year, which has already sold out completely in some of Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney’s finest venues. Kicking off at Melbourne’s iconic Forum Theatre on September 7, Hayden will head west to play at Perth’s Astor Theatre on September 8, then making way to Brisbane for a show at The Triffid on September 15, before playing a sold out Enmore Theatre in Sydney on September 21, and bringing the tour to a close at Adelaide’s Bonython Hall on September 22.
