Award-winning pop-country songstress Hayley Jensen may have to wait until April to know if she’s won the Golden Guitar Award for Female Artist of the Year, but it hasn’t stopped her ‘Breakin’ Hearts Album Launch Tour’ from going ahead across eleven dates in NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT in February and March.

The ‘Breakin’ Hearts Album Launch Tour’ is Hayley’s biggest tour yet and begins on February 10, after being rescheduled twice due to Covid.

Hayley said, “There’s nothing like the power of live music – it’s pure magic.  Time and time again, I’ve witnessed it connect an audience on a cellular level. It can transport you out of your current circumstances and state of mind to experience life in an entirely unexpected and new way.  When I created this album, my vision was always for these songs to be performed and enjoyed live.  Now, after the heartache of multiple lockdowns and reschedules, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and I’m so excited to hit the road with the band in just over a month and bring these songs to life!”

In the lead up to the tour, Hayley has also just been announced as part of the line-up for the Australia Day Live outdoor concert at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt and around Circular Quay. The concert will also air on ABC TV at 7.30pm on January 26; as an Australian Idol finalist in 2004 and part of Team Kylie on 2014’s The Voice, Hayley is no stranger to live TV performances.

Hayley’s ongoing support of developing artists has led her to invite local artists to hone their live performance skills and open for her on the tour. In addition, label mate and multi award winning artist Lachlan Bryan will make an appearance at the Melbourne show on February 18.

The ‘Breakin’ Hearts Album Launch Tour’ will be one of the first times Hayley’s trademark powerhouse vocals, catchy lyrics, and driving rhythm section will be heard live since the October release of the #1 ‘Breakin’ Hearts’ album, which is now available as limited-edition red vinyl.

The success of ‘Breakin’ Hearts’ saw Hayley reach her highest ARIA chart entries to date. In addition to taking out the top spot on the ARIA Country Album chart, ‘Breakin’ Hearts’ was #1 on the Australian Country Album chart, #4 on the Australian Album chart and #25 Album across all-genres.

‘Breakin’ Hearts’ also reached #1 on the iTunes Australia Top Country Albums chart and #5 on the iTunes UK Country Albums chart.

With a growing number of hit albums, #1 songs’, awards, and over a decade releasing music, Hayley Jensen continues to reinforce her place as a leading act in the Australian music landscape.
