Indie Rockers Hey Geronimo have just unveiled their new single and video ‘Waste Yourself’, which is the title track from their newly released EP. The EP features the new single, plus a collection of previously unreleased live tracks.
The new single sees Hey Geronimo return to their trademark, hi-energy choruses that featured heavily in the band’s early releases.
“Musically we learned a very valuable lesson from our last release. People don’t want to hear about society’s collective, impending doom. They just want bangers – and so bangers is what we will give them!” Pluto Jonze (Vocals and Keys.)
Also known for their creative videos, the song’s clip features a bizarro line up of the band (with a special guest from Ball Park Music) playing live as senior citizens shock them with electric dog collars.
Since their inception, Hey Geronimo developed as a fixture on the Australian festival circuit before releasing two critically acclaimed albums Crashing Into The Sun (2016) and CONTENT (2018).
The latter record, a concept album dealing with how society is being affected by changing technology, was a world first, featuring songs co-written and performed by AI.
The band has evolved since the release of CONTENT, welcoming classically trained multi- instrumentalist Sara Glynn to the line-up before venturing back into the studio to record their lively new single.
New single and EP ‘Waste Yourself’ are available for download on all major online stores.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
