Stimulate Your Soul (SYS) music blog are excited to present SYS Sounds. A killer party combining their two loves; hip hop and dumplings on the 29th March at Monkey Magic Darlinghurst, Sydney. The event will celebrate and thank SYS supporters over the years and thank the Aussie musicians in the hip hop industry for doing their thing over the years.
SYS was established 7 years ago by Maggie Tra who felt like Australia wasn’t supporting the hip hop/soul and RNB scene. While they always shied away from doing events, they have decided now is the time.
There will be 3 DJs playing on the evening, SYS’s very own founder Maggie Tra, Krystel Diola and Belgian DJ Kreshik.
The night will kick off at 9pm and finish up at 2am. The idea behind throwing the party is to prove that Sydney is not dead, and the music scene is still thriving especially in hip hop.

SYS’s Maggie Tra
Young blood DJ (on the inside) creator and Boss Lady of SYS Maggie Tra will open up the evening with hip hop, soul and RnB tunes that will get you in the groove. This will be her debut DJ set, so be kind.

Krystel Diola
Krystel Diola began taking DJing as a serious profession in the last three years, with her DJ skills traversing hip hop, soul, funk, groove music and quality future soul beats. Just recently she played Secret Sounds Festival and has quite notably opened for international acts.

Kreshik (Belgium)
Belgian DJ Kreshik is a smooth hypnotic selector that delights into hip-hop, funk, afrobeat and house music. Starting from humble beginnings, the turntablist is infamous for throwing down his Huveshta Rituals. He is currently on tour around Asia and will dropping some killer beats on his little stint down under.
