After a five-year hiatus from touring, Australian singer-songwriter Holly ‘Cookie’ Baker is making a triumphant return to the stage with her 17-date Where Do You Go In The Winter? Aotearoa/New Zealand and Australian tour. The tour marks Cookie’s debut performances in Aotearoa, bringing her heartfelt songs to new audiences for the first time.
The journey kicks off on May 28 in Auckland, winding through ten intimate NZ venues before returning home for a run of Australian shows, including a hometown performance in Adelaide.
Raised on a coastal farm in rural South Australia and now based on Kaurna land, Cookie has built a loyal following for her lyrically rich alt-country folk and dreamy pop sound. Known for her sparkling vocals, poetic grit, and dynamic storytelling, Cookie has toured with Mick Thomas, recorded with Tim Rogers, and shared the stage with icons like Neko Case, Kate Miller-Heidke, and Jen Cloher.
After focusing on songwriting and creative producing in recent years, 2025 marks a fresh chapter for Cookie — one rooted in patience, intimacy, and community.
“This tour is really about reconnecting — with the music, with the audience, and with the kind of intimate, soul-nourishing shows that made me fall in love with performing in the first place,” says Cookie. “New Zealand has been such a huge supporter of my music from afar, and this tour feels like a really special way to finally build that connection in person. In a time when so much feels fast and fleeting, I’m craving the slow magic of small rooms and real moments.”
Where Do You Go In The Winter? invites you to experience this compelling South Australian artist up close, sharing new and old music in a series of intimate shows.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
