HUNNY is a fundraiser night held at The Curtin in Melbourne, Victoria on the 28th of November 2018, consisting of music by super cool Melbourne artists HANNAH BLACKBURN, SHIT BITCH, GIRL GERMS, ERIN WILL BE MAD, SLUSH AND CHITRA, and beautiful art pieces by Adelaide’s own GIRLSPACE and BAD JUJU COLLECTIVE. All proceeds are going towards the charity SHARE THE DIGNITY who provide sanitary items to the homeless and fight against violence. This is a Collarts-student-run event by four like-minded, passionate girls wanting to make an impact in Melbourne’s live music scene.

OUR POWERFUL LINEUP INCLUDES:
Melbourne’s own singer-songwriter HANNAH BLACKBURN – who radiates susceptibility and capsulises what it is like to feel heartache. Her indie/pop sound will ease your mind as you connect with her charm and warmth, embedding yourself into her storytelling melodies.
Punk-rock girl group SHIT BITCH – The bunch of six who have been working outside of the punk rock box to create energetic, stomping garage-punk beats that have been heard all across the venues of Melbourne.
DIY punk band GIRL GERMS – have hit the Melbourne scene hard in the past year, consisting of three true blue punk rockers that leak the tightest sounds out of their instruments in every song.
Four piece dark indie-rock group ERIN WILL BE MAD – consist of moody sounds ingeniously paired with a mesmerising stage presence. EWBM bring together a unique performance that will make you not want too take your eyes off the stage.
Melbourne based triplet SLUSH – (formally known as Subshrub) relate their feminist punk-rock tunes to real life problems chicks are faced with on a daily basis. Between their catchy melodies and engaging lyrics, their audience has no other option but to either sing along or dance the night away.
Up and coming soulful artist CHITRA – from the small area of the Bellarine Peninsula where the music is rich and diversified, Chitra found her knack with her voice that stops people in their track, whilst also being able to tell the perfect stories through her indie/pop/rock style.

AND AMAZING ART FROM:
Female & female identifying art collective GIRL SPACE ADELAIDE – where female artists come together, be supported and showcase their art pieces.
Network of creatives BAD JUJU COLLECTIVE – who look to take all the Bad JuJu in the world and change it for the better.
HUNNY recognises and supports Share the Dignity in providing sanitary items to all those who experience menstruation. There will be the chance to donate any spare tampons and pads at a collection point on the night. This event is all inclusive. HUNNY has a zero discrimination policy, and celebrates all women, transgender, non-binary, gender fluid, queer and intersex artists. There will be tons of raffle prizes to be won on the night, with all the proceeds going towards; ‘SHARE THE DIGNITY’
