HUSKY
announce tour to
celebrate 10 years of
‘FOREVER SO’
and 1 year of
‘STARDUST BLUES’

HUSKY are set to embark on their first tour in two years, celebrating the 10 year anniversary of their first album Forever So, which saw them nominated for an ARIA, a J Award and signed to iconic US record label Sub Pop. The record featured single History’s Door, which won triple J Unearthed, and was at the forefront of the new folk revival at the time. Forever So has stood the test of time, with other favourites Tidal Wave, Dark Sea, the Woods and Hunter still featuring on radio and streaming playlists all over the world.
HUSKY will also be celebrating their latest album Stardust Blues, which they released in lockdown last year and will be touring for the first time. The Age/SMH had this to say about it: ‘Stardust Blues is intimate and warm, with wonderful washes of sound, all performed with precision, emotional honesty and so many attractive hooks that it invites comparisons with the Beatles at their most inventive and gentle.’
After three critically acclaimed albums (Sub Pop, Liberation Music), worldwide radio play, tens of millions of streams and years of local and international touring (inc. tours with Neil Young, Sharon Van Etten, Andy Shauf), it was difficult for the band, like it was for so many others, to hang up their skates these last two years. But with their new line up – Holly Joyce on guitar and vocals, Holly Thomas on drums and vocals, Jules Pascoe on bass and founding members Gideon Preiss on keys and vocals and Husky Gawenda on Vocals and guitar – the band is sounding better than ever. The time has finally come – live music is back!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
