Due to popular demand, a second Icehouse show with Bachelor Girl as special guests, has just been announced at Fremantle Prison on Friday 25th January.    Icehouse are one of Australia’s greatest bands and they’ve left an indelible mark on Oz music from their pub rock days, to a string of iconic hits and electric live performances.

Icehouse was formed by Iva Davies and are one of those bands who have managed to transcend age groups with a career spanning 40 years.  Generations of music lovers have been brought up with hits such as Crazy, Electric Blue, We Can Get Together, Great Southern Land, Hey Little Girl and Man Of Colours to name a few. Icehouse have sold over three million albums locally, more than nine million internationally have achieved 28 platinum album sales in Australasia.  They have had eight Top 10 albums and more than 30 Top 40 singles. Icehouse and Iva Davies have won many awards including the Countdown Award for the Most Popular Male Performer and ARIA Awards for the Best Album and Highest Selling Album for Man of Colours.  The band was inducted in the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006.  In June 2013 Iva was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for ‘significant service to the music and entertainment industry’ as a songwriter and performer, and to the community.

Bachelor Girl, comprising vocalist Tania Doko and keyboardist/producer James Roche, created waves in the local and international music scenes in 1998 with their debut single Buses And Trains.  The massive hit single was taken from the double platinum-selling album Waiting For The Day which claimed the 1998 ARIA Award for Best Producer.  They secured pop icon status in 1999, when Buses And Trains won the APRA Award for Song of the Year and became PPCA’s Most-Played Song on Australian radio, and continued to turn heads as the debut record spawned a further four smash hit singles including Lucky Me, Treat Me Good and Permission To Shine.   The follow-up release Dysfunctional in 2002 saw the band remain on an upward trajectory, featuring hits I’m Just A Girl and Drowning Not Waving.  In June this year, Bachelor Girl announced their reunion after a 12 year hiatus and with their return came a brand new single Speak.
